What a game. Back and forth from start to finish. 14U 2029 players playing up a level at 15U. [program_tooltip program_id='2075630' first='Martin' last='Brothers'] 14U team ended up going 5-0 on the weekend and this game right here was the only single digit final. They beat four other teams by at least 17 points, and the other three games were 24 or more point victories.

Sentrell Gray - The 2029 guard was Martin Bros leading scorer for the game with 18 points that Gray made on 9 makes. Gray grabbed a rebound and speed dribbled into the front court and scored a lay-up with ease even with resistance. In the half-court quick hands and feet allow him to rock a defender and his speed gets him to the basket for scores. Gray hit two mid-range stepbacks and seems to have good shot motion.

Khamari Riddick - The 2029 Riddick has a quick first step and if you give him space to get going good luck staying in front. Riddick scored 14 points making 6 shots, 3 in each half. Two of his makes in the 2nd half were dribble drive lay-ups. First one he set-up the defender thinking he was going right and quickly dribbled to his left for a finish. The final was a huge And 1 finish that sealed the victory in overtime. His dribble is tight in space, and moves laterally well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2918369' first='Kaden' last='Gomez'] - The 2029 Gomez is the shooter of the team and if you give him space expect him to make the shots. Gomez made three 3-pointers and one was a pretty good couple dribble step-back 3-pointer from the right wing. Gomez showed good ability to create enough separation to get himself a good look at the basket.

Drew McKowen - McKowen is just about six-feet tall and plays the game like a forward now, probably morphs into a big guard. McKowen can handle the ball, and works on defense. His assignment was the [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota']'s most productive player, and although he scored the most points in the game, McKowen gave him a lot to handle inside and out. High level activity on defense.

Lincoln Schlaak - Schlaak is a 2029 player with a good skill set from the perimeter. The open 3-pointer and looked very confident.

Chris Wright III - Wright has a good handle, quick with the ball, and good vision passing in traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id='2486564' first='Kolden' last='Johnson'] - The six-foot-four-inch 2029 Johnson scored 25 points versus [program_tooltip program_id='2075630' first='Martin' last='Brothers'] 14U scoring 11 shots inside or around the painted area. Martin Bros team just didn't have anything for Johnson who carried his [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] team in the 1st half. Johnson showed toughness and grit scoring baskets and very good touch.

Quianny Christian - The five-foot-nine-inch 2029 guard from Washburn showed off his 3-pointer shooting range and ability to handle pressure. Martin Bros, having heavily pursued defenders, pushed Christian every time with the basketball, and he kept his cool majority of the time and he did not turn the ball over.

Kyle Joyner - The five-foot-eleven-inch 2029 Hopkins guard really showed he could potentially be a lead ball handling guard. Joyner at times had to bring the ball up the court versus heavy defenders. Joyner didn't get free on the perimeter as much for open looks versus the tough Martin Bros team with exception to the end of the 1st half 3-pointer. Joyner struggled a bit to make short to mid-range shots, he did contribute on defense and passing the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2916865' first='King' last='Smith'] - Smith is a six-foot guard from Hopkins. Smith's size gives him a good advantage over his competitors as many at this age aren't nearly as big as him when they are six-feet. Secondary ball handling skills, moves feet well as a defender, and good passer.

Mal Jock - Jock has all the look and feel of a potential high-end player in his future. The long range shot is already here, very smooth and in the two games I watched him, he was on target hitting those shots. Jock has some refinement and growth as a ball handler to make himself really stand out and be more effective.
