This is continued coverage of this year's 2A All-State selections.

Wyatt Sanders (Mount Vernon-Enola 2026 6'2" C/F)- Mount Vernon-Enola had a fantastic 2024-25 season, and Sanders was a key part of that. He was the anchor in the painted area on both ends for the Warhawks during the regular season, and he carried over that great play into the playoffs, being named to the 2A all-tournament team.

James Rodgers (Mt. Vernon-Enola 2025 5'10" G)- Part of why the Warhawks achieved a 29-7 overall record and a 7-0 conference record is based on this senior's yearly performance. In addition to his all-state selection, Rodgers was named to the 501Life basketball team, where he was recognized as an excellent two-way player by his head coach. One of his best single moments during the season was against Quitman in late January when he knocked down a halfcourt shot to send the game into overtime.

Owen Brantley (Quitman 2025 6'0" CG)- Another member of the 501Life basketball team is Owen Brantley. He finishes his career with Quitman as one of the best players in school history, especially after being a 4-year starter. This past season, Brantley had a notable outing against White County Central, where he hit 4 3-pointers. His great play is even more incredible when knowing that Brantley survived open heart surgery at just 10 weeks old.

Jeryn Thomas (Conway Christian 2025 6'3" G)- One of the most consistent players in the 2A classification over the last few seasons was Jeryn Thomas. He was a 3-time all-conference selection and part of the 501Life basketball team. Thomas is a fantastic two-way player, being a strong driver on the offensive end and then shutting down the best guards on the other team. He is also a fantastic quarterback for the football team.

Xavier Stobaugh (Conway St. Joseph 2026)- Conway St. Joseph did not have the best 2024-25 season, but star junior Xavier Stobaugh still found ways to contribute. One of his better games of the season was against a talented Quitman team, where he had 16 points.

Kaidon Clingmon (Carlisle 2025 5'9" CG)- One of the best two-sport athletes selected as an all-state performer is Clingmon. He holds an offer from Hendrix College to play football after recording 39 receptions, 703 yards, and 12 touchdowns with the Carlisle football team. Of course, he was great on the hardwood as well, having one of his best games of the season against Augusta, where he scored 34 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2021902' first='Landon' last='Woods']- Woods was all-conference and all-state as a sophomore, which made this year's selection no surprise. He had some great regular season performances, including a 17-point, 14-assist outing against Kirby in November to open up the year. He had 21 points and 4 assists against Barton in December and 24 points and 3 steals versus McCrory in January. In the state tournament versus Hampton, Woods scored 13 points and recorded 7 assists.

Aden Scribner (England 2026 6'3" CG)- Aden Scribner is the second of three great 2026 England players who has the talent to play at the next level. He has already received an offer to play at Arkansas State-Newport, and it is not hard to see why. He had a 12-point, 13-rebound performance against Barton in December, then another double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds against Marianna. Around that time, he had a solid outing against McCrory, posting 19 points and 5 rebounds. Scribner was instrumental in helping England punch their ticket to the state tournament, scoring 18 points and grabbing 11 rebounds against Conway St. Joseph to solidify their spot in the postseason. Against Hampton in the playoffs, Scribner put up 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Jayquan Mays (England 2026 6'2" G)- England's big three is rounded out by Jayquan Mays. This long junior guard is one of the best all-around players on the court each night. I had 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists versus KIPP Delta in early December, then posted 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 assists against Lonoke a few weeks later. He continued his double-double trend against Marianna in January with a 15-point, 10-rebound outing. In the state tournament against Hampton, Mays was on triple-double watch late in the game after posting 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists.

Jamarie Anthony (Lee 2026 6'7" SG)- As a 6'7" guard, colleges better start taking notice of Jamarie Anthony. He was averaging 15 points and 12 rebounds heading into his junior season, and he has since eclipsed 1,000 career points and will continue to dominate the 2A classification. Some of his best play was in January, starting with a 19-point, 12-rebound, 3-steal, and 3-block performance against Barton on January 8th. He had another double-double a week later against Palestine-Wheatley, posting 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks. He capped off the month with a 38-point, 10-rebound, 5-steal evening against McCrory. Shorter College has already taken notice of his great play, giving him an offer this past season.

Lesean Gamble (Lee 2026 6'2" G)- Lee had a strong group this year, with their big three being all over 6'2". Gamble was a great all-around performer for them this season, starting the conference season with a 24-point outing against East Poinsett County. He then had 20 points and 5 steals against Palestine-Wheatley a couple of days later, and then 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists against England not long after that. After an 18-point, 5-rebound, and 3-assist outing versus Barton, Gamble had 15 points against Conway Christian to punch Lee's ticket to the 2A state tournament. In the playoffs versus Poyen, the junior put up 12 points.

Lemontrell Jones (Lee 6'5" F)- Like his teammate, Jamarie Anthony, Lemontrell Jones has picked up an offer from Shorter College. As of January, Jones was averaging 13 points and 12 rebounds per game. He recorded a near double-double of 9 points and 12 rebounds against Barton, which was shortly before a monster outing against East Poinsett County that saw him record 20 points and 10 rebounds. In the state tournament against Poyen, Jones posted another double-double, recording 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Qulan Green (Barton 2026 6'6")- In addition to being an all-state selection, Green was a 2A-6 all-conference selection. This is not at all a surprise, as he performed well throughout the season. He had some momentum heading into his strong conference play with an MVP performance against Palestine-Wheatley in the Ridge Runner Showcase in December. Green is also a phenomenal tight end with the Bears' football team.

Anderson Smith (Barton 2026 SF)- One of the highest flyers in the 2A classification is incoming senior Anderson Smith. Like Green, he was also a 2A-6 all-conference selection and performed well at the Ridge Runner Showcase in December, earning Game 15 MVP honors.

Bo Batchelor (Poyen 2025)- Batchelor had a phenomenal month of February, averaging 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists a night during a 5-game stretch. It all started after a 32-point performance versus Hampton earlier that month. Hendrix College has since taken notice, offering him this past season.
