The spring AAU season is in full swing as May is right around the corner. The 2027 class is looking to make its mark this spring, especially in the backcourt. Here are the Group 2 shooting guards to track this spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='2621818' name='Hunter Hynes'], 6'3 [highschool_tooltip highschool_id='2578247' name='Point Pleasant Boro']

Hynes burst onto the scene this past year and is looking to carry it over into the spring. The 6'3 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. Hynes can also get into the paint off the bounce and finishes well around the basket. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and is an underrated passer. Hynes' ability to stretch the floor is something to watch over the next couple of weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2428329' name='Tommy Denvir'], 6'1 Delaware Valley

Denvir has the potential to play either on or off the ball, which makes him an intriguing prospect to track. The 6'1 guard has a good shooting stroke as he wastes little motion and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Denvir is more than just a shooter as he can get to the rim off the bounce and has a nice touch in the mid-range. He pushes the pace well in transition and gets deflections on the defensive end. Denvir's stock has a chance to move up in a big way if he shows the ability to run the offense efficiently this spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='2786715' name='Max Silvestri'], 6'2 [highschool_tooltip highschool_id='2581519' name='Haddon Heights']

Silvestri had big games down the stretch for the Haddons and is looking to bring that over into the spring. The 6'2 guard has a good handle, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and knows how to finish around the basket. Silvestri is more than just a slasher as he has a good shooting stroke and sets his feet before he shoots. He rarely makes bad decisions with the ball in his hands and works hard on the defensive end. Silvestri had three 20-point games last season and will be looking to have similar games during the spring AAU season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2628255' name='Bart Jordan'], 6'1 [highschool_tooltip highschool_id='2591721' name='Weequahic']

Jordan has the potential to breakout this spring as he should have the ball in his hands more. The 6'1 guard has a good first step, which he uses to get to the rim and is unafraid of drawing contact. Jordan moves well without the ball in his hands and can knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. He is a solid rebounder and is an underrated defender. Jordan is a gritty guard prospect whose ability to make plays at both ends of the floor will help his game over the next couple of months.

[player_tooltip player_id='2619574' name='John Visceglia'], 6'1 [highschool_tooltip highschool_id='2583542' name='Manasquan']

Visceglia has the potential to have a big spring with his ability to stretch the floor. The 6'1 guard has a clean shooting stroke and makes opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. Visceglia moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the halfcourt. He slides his feet on the defensive end and is a solid passer. Visceglia's ability to stretch the floor and defend on the perimeter will help his stock over the next couple of weeks.
