<p>McGregory took over the 4A tournament, named captain of the 4A all-tournament team and dominating the game on the offensive end in all three games. He finished second in scoring across all four classes, and he routinely delivered huge shots for the Tigers. He was able to get into the paint seemingly whenever he wanted, made the game-winner in the semifinals, and was dominant in the championship game.</p>

<p>The recently named Mr. Basketball, Jirak was fantastic on both ends of the floor for the Tigers throughout the week, controlling the painted area on both sides of the ball. He can score inside and out, protect the rim, and dominate the glass. </p>

<p>Rice was excellent all week for the Wolves, showcasing his ability to score from anywhere on the floor, control the glass, and create plays for his teammates. He was really tough as a defender and versatile scorer. </p>

<p>Aalbers was the captain of the 3A all-tournament team. He was great all week, making some huge shots throughout the week, delivering whenever the Dutchmen needed him. He's a really talented shotmaker with a ton of confidence.</p>

<p>Severson led the tournament in scoring, putting up 83 points throughout the three games. He's a talented shot creator with good size, length, and footwork that he uses to get to the rim for finishes, and he has range well beyond the high school 3-point line. He was elite throughout the week, helping lead Madrid to their first state title.</p>

<p>A strong, tough wing who completely controls the game on both ends of the floor on nearly every possession, Van Regenmorter was named the captain of the 2A all-tournament team while helping lead the Wolfpack to their 12th state title.</p>

<p>The future Illinois-Chicago big man was elite on both ends of the floor, scoring inside and out, controlling the glass, getting his teammates involved by flashing good vision out of the high-post, and he was fantastic as a rim protector. His presence in the paint completely alters the way that teams can attack the Thunder on the offensive end.</p>

<p>Meyer was one of the most impressive athletes in the arena last week, impacting the game on both ends of the floor with his athleticism and strength. He can attack the rim off the dribble, knock down shots off the catch, and defend multiple positions. </p>

<p>The future Iowa tight end was ridiculously good throughout the week for the Lions, nearly leading them to the 3A state title. A strong, physical, and extremely athletic big man, he showed his ability to do a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor, scoring at the rim, controlling the glass, getting his teammates involved, and defending multiple positions. </p>

<p>Hilton was one of the breakout players of the week in any class, averaging a massive double-double in the Lions' pair of games. A tough, athletic 6-6/6-7 wing who can score from all three levels, it was his toughness as a finisher and on the glass that really stood out throughout the week.</p>
