ORANGE — Gerry Freitas held his annual SoCal Senior Showcase on the campus of Santiago Canyon College on Sunday which featured unsigned senior prospects from across California and Arizona. Below we take a closer look at some of the top wings, forwards and big men that we saw.

Elijah Gelin | Aveson

The Windward grad is coming off of a post-grad season and showed a lot of the tools that we liked about him during his senior high school season. The 6-foot-6 wing is long, wiry and athletic and that combination allows him to get to the rim and finish in transition and half-court offensive situations.

Gabaree Scott | Washington Prep

Scott was a double-double threat during his senior season for the Generals as he averaged 9.5 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. The 6-foot-8 forward/center is a highly-mobile transition runner with soft hands and touch around the basket.

Mohamed Dem | DNA Prep

Dem is a very raw overall prospect but there aren't many mobile 6-foot-10 prospects with upside available in the area. Dem flashed a high motor, rim protecting instincts and a willingness to get on the offensive and defensive glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='2425667' first='Prince' last='Okonkwo'] | West Ranch

Okonkwo has an intriguing combination of size and skill at 6-feet-9. The unsigned senior is one of the best available prospects remaining on the board and, with the right fit and development, could mold into a high Division II or low Division I recruit. Okonkwo is a soft-touch finisher at the rim with some back to the basket feel.

[player_tooltip player_id='1983497' first='Shamar' last='Jones'] | Mountain House

Jones is a physical and athletic attacking wing whose best attribute is his ability to get downhill and attack the rim. The 6-foot-4 senior has the ball skills and body control to work in isolation situations where he can create space for perimeter jumpers or beat his defender off the bounce, get to the rim and score through contact.
