For [player_tooltip player_id='2054793' first='Ryan' last='Fraser'] this post-season, the game has slowed down for him at just the right time. The 6-foot-1 senior from Jesuit has been a marksman from the outside this off-season and thanks to his sharp-shooting the Crusaders come into the 6A State Tournament as one of the hottest teams in the field, kicking off the tournament against defending champions Central Catholic on Thursday night.

Fraser has been a huge part of the success. In Jesuit's two post-season games, he's knocked down a total of nine threes and has simply been money from beyond the arc. "I just think, honestly, my confidence just came around," Fraser said. "I did a lot of shooting (during the off-season), a lot of reps shooting, off the ball, off the catch, coming off pin downs, flares, fades, all that, working on all types of reads. Just trusting and putting in the work, just giving all the glory to God."

While his forte has been shooting, Fraser has done a great job helping Jesuit move the basketball around on offense and also locking down on the defensive end. He's had a number of colleges reach out, so while Jesuit has been playing this season he's also been sorting through his college options, which are coming at multiple levels of play.

"I'm talking to Western Washington and they want me to come down for a visit in April, play with their guys and do that," Fraser said. "I'm talking to the PCC head coach and I really like it over there, and then I'm also talking to Pacific too. Honestly, I just want a place where I can develop and become better in my game."

Making a final decision on the next level will come for Fraser - for now his focus is on helping the Crusaders advance at the Chiles Center and hopefully bring home another state championship for the proud program.

"You know, we just have to keep playing together," Fraser said. "Coach Potter talks about togetherness and when we play together, I don't think any team in the state can beat us. We just have to play together, and we can get the job done."

Fraser currently ranks as the #111 player in the PrepHoops Oregon Class of 2025 rankings.
