I was able to catch [player_tooltip player_id='2819215' first='Anthony' last='Martinez'] play just a couple of days ago at the Blacktop 24/7 Tournament. He showcased his change of direction and acceleration skills on both offense and defense. On offense, he got downhill and two his spots when he really hit the gas pedal. On defense, he gave his opponents trouble with his lateral quickness and active hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='2819233' first='LJ' last='Haylock'] utilizes his agility to stay in front of his man on defense. Which can lead to him causing turnovers or getting his opponent to take a bad shot. His ability to accelerate also helps him get to his floater or all the way to the rack on offense. I'm looking forward to watching him develop more this spring and summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2819186' first='Jaydn' last='Sherman'] takes the #75 spot in the new rankings. He is a crafty guard that can make different maneuvers to get by his defender. Then once he's near the basket, he will either rise up and make a tough finish or drop it off to a teammate for an easy bucket.

[player_tooltip player_id='2521953' first='Noah' last='Kohara'] plays with his eyes up, and does a good job of hitting his teammates for open shots. He can put some steam behind his passes, and that allows him to fit them through tight windows. Kohara can also do a bit of scoring himself, and has the ability to hit tough shots around the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2819309' first='Jonas' last='Isola'] played varsity this season at Sandy Valley and was a quality defender for them. He collected an impressive 1.4 steals a game, good for 14th in the state for the 2028 class. The Sidewinders will lose 7 seniors to graduation in a couple of months, and I believe Isola should be able to grab more minutes next season.
