Our most recent rankings update for the Class of 2026 features 25 new prospects among the Top 215.

The Newcomers are an impressive group of prospects that come from the public and prep ranks, with at least one newly recognized prospect coming from each of New England's six states.

The top ranked newcomer in this update is [player_tooltip player_id='2325740' first='Tahlan' last='Pettway']. The lead guard from St. Thomas More checked into the rankings at #26 after a strong junior season. A long and lean guard with an elite first step, he's a next level playmaker that can get into the teeth of a defense off the bounce. He scores over size in the paint, has come along as a shooter from behind the arc, and is terrific in transition. On top of that, he's a strong on ball defender that really makes things difficult for opposing guards.

Below are ten prospects that made their way into the rankings after impressing with their play on the court this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2818469' first='Devin' last='Williams'] (#62)

A combo guard at Milton Academy, Williams enters the rankings at #62. A big time scorer, he's exactly what you'd expect a combo guard to be. He can make plays off the bounce and does so at a high level, showing the ability to change speeds and directions on his way to the rim. He finishes around the basket in a variety of ways, utilizing good length and impressive burst. He can make shots in bunches from behind the arc and is really good at pushing the pace in transition. Defensively, he's disruptive on the ball and in passing lanes. He's already garnering Division 1 interest and should see his offer list climb this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2818496' first='Jake' last='Freeman'] (#68)

A big wing at the Middlesex School, Freeman makes his first appearance in the rankings at #68. A next level shooter, he proved this winter to be a consistent shot maker both with the ball in his hands and in spot up situations. He has a college ready frame and plays with good pace and feel for the game. His shooting opens up driving lanes and he does a good job of utilizing shot and pass fakes to get into the paint. He's a willing ball mover that doesn't cause an offense to stick and has progressively gotten better at scoring off the bounce in the mid-range. He's a versatile defender that can rebound in space and in traffic. He's an academic prospect and should be on the radar of academic scholarship schools this spring and summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2818508' first='Jack' last='Millward'] (#104)

A scoring guard from Wakefield, Millward checks into the rankings at #104. A big, athletic guard that can impact a game in a variety of ways offensively, he popped this winter as one of the best scorers in the MIAA. At 6'4" with the ability to play above the rim, he's hard to guard when he gets downhill off the bounce and finishes both with creativity and through contact at the basket. He's an isolation scorer that can create off the bounce and does a good job of elevating into his jump shot. He rebounds by the rim, defends multiple positions, and plays with a high motor. He will head to the Rivers School in the fall and reclassify into the Class of 2027.

[player_tooltip player_id='2674384' first='Kingston' last='Maxwell'] (#105)

An athletic scoring guard out of Abington, Maxwell enters the rankings at #105. A dynamic athlete, he can really impact games with his ability to make plays in the open floor. He's explosive vertical and moves incredibly well laterally, both of which allow him to be a disruptive defender, both at the point of attack and in passing lanes. He does a good job of turning defense into transition offense and can really get up and down the floor. He makes good plays off the bounce as a passer, continues to improve his ability to play through contact, and is able to consistently knock down shots from behind the arc. He's a prospect that could be a stock riser this spring as his combination of positional size and athleticism is bound to attract the attention of scholarship level programs.

[player_tooltip player_id='2716639' first='Tony' last='Dean'] (#118)

An agile big at Stoneham, Dean makes his first appearance in the rankings at #118. One of the top shot blockers in the MIAA this winter, he has a great feel for the game defensively and combines that with terrific positional size and length. He does a good job with his timing as a shot blocker, doesn't leave the ground early, and stays vertical to high point the ball. He can really run the floor in transition, showed the ability to handle the ball a little in space, and continues to impresses with his ability to grab double digit rebounds night in and night out. His offensive game seems to improve every time he takes the floor and as he adds strength, he should only become more of a threat on that end of the floor. He'll be another prospect to track this spring as there aren't a ton of prospects with his combination of size and agility.

[player_tooltip player_id='2696709' first='Isaiah' last='Reis'] (#130)

A versatile guard from Portsmouth, Reis checks into the rankings for the first time at #130. More of a combo than true lead guard, he proved to be one of the top perimeter shooters in the NHIAA this winter. He does a great job of making plays with the ball in his hands, showing the ability to create seperation which allows him to get into his shots or find teammates cutting to the rim. He's a compact guard with a solid frame, allowing him to play through contact in the paint. He's a good decision maker that has shown the ability to make good reads out of ball screens. Defensively, he can guard either spot in the back-court and is seemingly always in the right help position. He should become a priority target for D3s throughout the region and could catch the eye of scholarship level programs with his shotmaking.

[player_tooltip player_id='2818538' first='Abe' last='Camara'] (#145)

A hybrid forward at Malden Catholic, Camara joins the rankings at #145. An incredibly long prospect, Camara has great size at 6'5" and the versatility to play inside or out. His physical tools help him to be a terrific defender as he uses his length and athleticism to frustrate opposing ball-handlers while also jumping passing lanes for easy steals. He can really run the floor in transition and does a good job of finishing plays aggressively at the rim. On the perimeter, he has improved as a shooter, but still is at his best when he attacks the paint off the bounce, getting by the defense with long strides. As he continues to add strength to his frame, his ceiling will only rise due to his versatility and ability to make plays in space. He should be on the radar of lots of schools this spring and will eventually be a priority recruit.

[player_tooltip player_id='2696712' first='Jacob' last='Klass'] (#172)

A talented combo guard out of Beverly, Klass makes an appearance in the rankings at #172. The lefty proved to be one of the top scorers in northern Massachusetts this winter, earning Northeastern Conference MVP honors for his efforts. He had six games of 30 or more points and nine of 25 or more, getting it done at all three levels. He has a good understanding of how to create space, either off the bounce or while running off screens, and is really quick to get into his jumper. He's shifty with the ball in his hands and can finish with touch over size in the paint. He doesn't back down physically and seems to rise to the occassion as a scorer when a big basket is needed. I'd imagine he'll be at the top of many D3 coaches wish lists this spring and summer and has the ability to continue to rise up these rankings in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='2696742' first='Reece' last='MacDonald'] (#189)

A scoring guard from York, MacDonald enters the rankings for the first time at #189. A 20 point per game scorer this winter, he has the ability to get hot in a hurry from behind the arc, making shots with deep range. He does a good job of moving without the basketball and is constantly relocating into passing windows. He has a good feel for the game as a decision maker, doesn't cause the ball to stick, and does a good job of utilizing screens to get open. Defensively, he's a high IQ defender that can guard in space and does a good job of being in the right spot at the right time in the help position. He should be a prospect that D3 coaches looking for perimeter scoring take a long look at this spring and summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2553839' first='Lucas' last='LeGage'] (#195)

A gifted scorer out of Portland, LeGage checks into the rankings at #195. A scorer that just knows how to play, he did a great job this winter of rounding out his offensive game. He doesn't force the issue, taking what the defense gives him both with the ball in his hands and as a cutter, which allows him to get good look after good look at the basket. He developed his off the dribble game this winter and showed the ability to be a shot creator in isolation situations. He's still at his best as a catch and shoot guy from behind the arc, but really impressed with his ability to get baskets at multiple levels while also making good decisions with the basketball in his hands. He has the chance to attract a lot of attention from D3 coaches this spring and summer as a prospect that impacts winning by making the right play.
