Below are six prospects, one from each positional group, that appeared in our latest rankings update after having successful high school seasons.

Point Guard: [player_tooltip player_id='2547004' first='Anthony' last='Thompson']

A product of Northwest Catholic, Thompson is a crafty ball-handler that knows how to get into the paint and make plays for others. As a facilitator, he does a good job of pitching the ball ahead in transition, makes good reads out of ball screens, and finds cutters on the move. As a scorer, he has the ability to make shots from behind the perimeter and also finishes in a variety of ways over size in the paint. Defensively, he's a good on-ball defender that guards in space and keeps opponents out of the paint. He has yet to announce his plans for college and remains uncommitted.

Combo Guard: [player_tooltip player_id='2532462' first='Jayden' last='Johnson']

A product of Leominster, Johnson is a big guard that is a talented scorer in isolation situations. He uses his dribble to create space and can get into the teeth of the defense off of a variety of euro-steps and hesitations. As a scorer, he uses his length to finish at the rim, while also getting it done in the mid-range and from behind the arc. He shines defensively with his versatility, showing the ability to guard up and down a spot while creating plenty of steals and deflections. He's quick to turn defense into offense and is particularly hard to guard in transition. He is an uncommitted prospect at this point in time.

Shooting Guard: [player_tooltip player_id='1532504' first='Jack' last='Murphy']

A product of the Pingree School, Murphy is a high academic guard that can really shoot the basketball. He does a great job of getting shot ready before the catch, moves well without the ball to get into open passing windows, and has a quick release on his shot. He has deep range on his jumper and can get hot in a hurry from behind the arc. He leverages his shooting to open up driving lanes and makes good decisions as a passer. Defensively, he rebounds above his 6'2" frame and isn't afraid to mix it up in the paint or when going for loose balls. He hasn't announced his future plans and remains uncommitted.

Small Forward: [player_tooltip player_id='2453028' first='Ebe' last='Efosa']

A product of Greater Lawrence Tech, Efosa is an elite athlete that uses his physical tools to his advantage on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he thrives as an on-ball defender, using his athleticism and strength to make it difficult for opposing ball-handlers. He has good burst when jumping passing lanes and is effective as a shot blocker from the help side. Offensively, he's at his best when attacking the rim with a quick first step and the ability to play through contact. He can finish plays way above the rim and also makes tough shots in the mid-range. He remains uncommitted at this point in time.

Power Forward: [player_tooltip player_id='2811978' first='Jeffrey' last='Acoff']

A product of Bloomfield, Acoff is a multi-positional defender that also knows how to score in the paint. He's a good athlete with long arms that knows how to create havoc in passing lanes and rebound in traffic. Offensively, he runs the floor hard in transition and does a good job of drawing fouls around the rim. He stands out with his ability to make plays from the dunker spot, attacking slower bigs off the bounce, and finishing with power over smaller defenders at the rim. He has yet to announce his future plans, making him an uncommitted prospect.

Center: [player_tooltip player_id='2811950' first='Atif' last='Milak']

A product of Montpelier, Milak is a true post presence that does most of his damage in the paint. He is a good rim runner, making an effort to establish his position in the paint where he can score with either hand. He rolls hard out of ball screens and can finish with authority when he has momentum going towards the basket. Defensively, he's capable of switching in ball screens and guarding in space, but shines when he's in the paint corraling rebounds and blocking shots. His ability to protect the rim stood out in Vermont, as he anchored the defense for a state champion. He is another uncommitted prospect that has yet to announce his future plans.
