Jared is a young PG who plays with a lot of energy and effort. While facilitating was his primary role, he showed the ability to score off the bounce. For the most part, he plays under control and rarely gets sped up or forced into bad decisions. He is a relentless competitor with a good feel for the game to be a young player. He is instinctive on both ends of the floor and makes others around him better.

Isaiah is a small lead guard with a game beyond his years, but as I mentioned, he is small. He competes at a high level on both ends of the floor and impacts the game across the stat sheet. Offensively, he can score and facilitate as he possesses good court awareness, vision, passing, and scoring ability. Defensively, he is an irritant who gets under the skin of ball-handlers. I keep saying he is small, but he plays with a lot of heart and energy. Many may raise the question about his size, but I would not worry too much about that if I were Isaiah, as I am sure he has a growth spurt coming in the near future.

Owen is a really good multi-level scorer who was very impressive on day one. If I was doing a sniper school article, he would be in it, as he qualified by making at least three threes during the game I was watching. He is a lefty with range and can also score it off the bounce when he is run off the line. He is really tough getting downhill going left and finishes well at the cup in traffic. His speed with the ball in his hands and the many ways he can score the rock make him a tough cover.

Zamarion came out of the gates strong in the game I was watching, and I thought I was about to see another score-first PG have a huge game scoring the rock. However, Zamarion showed a really good balance when it came to facilitating and scoring. He has a solid skill set and can really handle the ball and create off the bounce for himself and his teammates. He uses his dribble really well to create space in order to get his shot off when he is looking for his offense. When he is looking to get his teammates involved, he does a good job getting painting touches, collapsing the defense, and hitting open teammates.

Frederick is a backcourt talent who showed his ability to play on and off the ball. Today, his team needed him to have the ball in his hands most of the time, as his ability to create offense off the bounce was vitally needed. Fred and Deklyn, who you will read about next, had a very exciting battle amid the overall game. Both players were making big plays and making the other compete on both ends. Fred is quick and creative with the ball in his hands. He is the engine of his squad, and his team goes as he goes.

Deklyn is a young PG with a budding PG IQ. He has an amazing feel for the game to be his age and plays with passion. He has a skill set that allows him to run the show and go for huge numbers. He is shifty off the bounce and crafty when finishing in the paint and at the rim. He has good vision and passing ability and makes good decisions with the rock in his hands. I was really impressed with his play and how his game is much more polished than many of his peers at this age.

Aveion Wilson (6'0/F/2030/NYBA Elite)

Aveion was one of the best rebounders I saw on day one. He makes winning plays that were not always scoring plays, and his impact on the floor is seen on both ends of the floor. He is a do-it-all weapon who brings a blend of scoring, playmaking, and defense to the game. He is a true game changer, as he is capable of impacting the game in so many ways. His budding athleticism, coupled with his highly energetic style of play, make him a force to be reckoned with every time he steps on the court.
