A few of our rankings are wildly off on some players. Remember all rankings estimate where a basketball player will be at their peak. Can they play college basketball at some level? If yes, then they will be somewhere in the Top 125ish of their class. Lately, the D1 players are Top 10. Division II programs are finding recruits down to about #35.

Was: Unranked
Will be: Top 30
Why?: Soft shooting touch. Nice height. Handle is passable to above average for a future college guard. Lacks the lateral mobility to check college-bound guards right now.

Was: #8
Will be: Top 11
Why?: Elite defensive rebounding in a Regional Championship game. Rodney will be a point guard or combo guard for Freed-Hardeman, but Tyner Academy needs him on the glass quite a bit. Rodney provided solid rebounding all night. The one element of his game that Henderson till does not show off much is outside shooting. He does not need to take that shot at the 2A level because nobody can prevent him from getting to the rim. In college he will likely be asked to shoot some from outside.

'27 [player_tooltip player_id='2207470' first='Kohl' last='Ward'] (Tyner Academy)

Was: #24
Will be: Top 50
Why?: Exceptional handle. The Class of 2027 unearthed many more players in the last few months, so Kohl was always going to be adjusted as our rankings included better and worse guys previously overlooked. Ward remains tremendous handling pressure and escaping traps. His weakness is efficient shooting. Kohl made 83-230 FG through his first 29 games. That is 36% FG. He must take easier shots and cut out some of the very, very difficult attempts.

Was: Watch List
Will be: Top 60
Why?: South Side features another strong team as is customary for Head Coach DaMonn Fuller the last decade+. Chris is a thin, agile 6-foot-7 forward. Light on his feet.
