Forwards Star At Ypsilanti Lincoln v. Canton (District 16)

It was an entertaining and competitive game, with Ypsilanti Lincoln taking home the title with a 41-37 victory. He contributed on both ends of the floor. Johnson showed quick hands and reaction on defense and was able to take a steal coast to coast for a bucket. He showed some craftiness with an under the rim reverse. He was very active around the rim on both ends. Mayaka showed the ability to wall up and protect the rim even through contact. He had at least 1 block off the bench. Mayaka was able to score off a put back and cutting to open space under the rim and finishing off a pass. He was a big time asset on the defensive end where he showed a knack for defending the rim. Wilson used his height and length to challenge and block shots. He had at least 3 blocks, with 1 coming from behind the ball. He didn't have huge numbers in this game, but it wasn't because he didn't play well. Drake was still active around the rim and was a part of a core of forwards that all play excellent basketball. He is a plus rebounder that gets high percentage looks at the rim and doesn't seem to take bad shots.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
