For starters, Myers shot the ball with supreme confidence as he knocked down I believe four 3-pointers including a 25-footer to tie the game with about a minute to play in regulation. I was also impressed by his motor, securing 12 rebounds on the night. With the athletic profile of Myers with his frame, size and athleticism and strong current production, he seems like a prospect who will keep getting better. Look for him to debut in our 2027 rankings during the next update which should come next week.     I was impressed with the perimeter shot making and overall athleticism River Valley showed me as they definitely have the bodies to compete with some of the Division IV teams people are more familiar with statewide. Weston made a handful of shots at the rim and in the mid-range area as well. Solid off guard to play around an experienced group that has seen tremendous success throughout the season.     Heartbreaking loss for Unioto as Hoops ends his career and will move on to Morehead State University to play football. A great effort as the Shermans came out firing from long range as Hoops knocked down two first half 3-pointers and was fouled on another. With his bigger frame Hoops drew the defense in on him when he drove to the basket and had a couple slick dishes to the corner for perimeter shots. In overtime Hoops hit a miracle 3-pointer to make it a two point game and give last hope for the Unioto faithful who made the trip down to Athens. With Matt Combs leading the charge, expect Unioto to be playing high leverage playoff games in the convo for years to come.     You won't find many greener lights for any guard in Ohio than Nichols, he takes and makes some of the craziest shots you'll see all season on a nightly basis. Nichols came out firing on Thursday as he was getting to the rim early and often, using his improved frame to handle contact and finish at the rim. He also knocked down some deep 3-pointers and his highlight of the game came when he dropped a defender and launched a half-court pass for a layup. The Panthers are playing with a ton of confidence as they want to make it back to UD Arena.     The third wheel last season, Watson has established himself as the second option for the Panthers who start five Juniors. A wing who knocks down shots off the catch, Watson got a friendly roll on a corner 3-pointer as Maysville hit the ground running in the first quarter. With his size Watson can also shoot over smaller defenders on turnaround jumpers and mid-post catches. Watson also finished off [player_tooltip player_id='2386466' first='Gator' last='Nichols'] highlight of the game as he was on the receiving end of the pass after Nichols dropped a New Lexington defender to the floor. If Maysville wants to make it back to the state title game, they'll need Watson playing at his best.
