D4 All Final 4 And MVP

<p>The state playoffs came to a close and a Division 4 champion was crowned. In the Final 4, Tri-Unity Christian topped Crystal Falls Forest Park 67-46 while Fowler upended Allen Park Inter-City Baptist 59-43. It was more of the same in the championship game, finishing with team highs of 12 points and 5 assists.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Halfmann was all over the stat sheet in the semifinals. He finished with 14 points, 7 boards, 6 assists and a steal. Halfmann led the team in scoring in the title game with 11. He added 3 assists as well.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Osbun led the team in scoring in the first game, finishing with 16 and doing it with incredible efficiency. He added 5 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists to his totals. Osbun finished the final game with 8 points and 4 boards.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Koenigknecht was excellent in the semis, hitting 3 triples on his way to a tie for the team high with 15. He added 6 rebounds 3 assists as well. Koenigknecht finished the final game with 6 points and 3 rebounds.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Mellon grabbed 4 boards and scored 10 points on perfect shooting from the field going 4-4. Mellon was a force in the title game. He finished with 9 points and 8 rebounds, once again scoring efficiently by going 4-5 from the field.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">2ND TEAM</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Giuliani paced his team offensively, scoring a team high 16 points. He also led the team in rebounding by grabbing 5. Giuliani was just overall tough in the paint.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Esse is a confident and skilled player. He led Inter-City Baptist with a game high 25 points.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Silverton had 9 points in the round of 4. He also dished the ball to the tune of 4 assists. In the championship game, Silverton scored 11 points and grabbed 2 steals in a dominating defensive performance.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Simon tied as the team scoring leader with 15 in the 1st game. In the championship game he finished with 7 points, 4 assists and 3 boards.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Halfmann had a near double-double in the semis with 8 points and 10 rebounds. He scored 7 points while dishing off 4 assists in the title game.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">MVP</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Blanker seemed to be the guy that made it go. His ability to both score and distribute was so critical, especially in a defensively dominated championship game. Blanker earned the right to call himself an MVP and ended his high school career on top.</p>
