March 15th-16th I attended the Attitude of Gratitude High Academic Camp. There were exactly 60 campers with 6 full teams.

It was a unique experience for the campers since actual college coaches were the camp coaches of the 6 teams. A bunch of new players were at the camp and the players that shined had the college coaches talking to them after the games.

Here were some of the standout Sophomores

[player_tooltip player_id='2574815' first='Garrison' last='Bambolo'] Willow Canyon (Pictured)

A long and fluid taller wing forward can facilitate plus score. He will score with threes off the catch, mid-range pull-ups, driving layups with some vertical pop and he is a sneaky good passer. He will throw up the court ropes to make plays and will drive and kick it. He can handle the ball off of a rebound and push it.

[player_tooltip player_id='2763998' first='Jacai' last='Reed'] Williams Field

A scoring point guard had a good showing. He will make plays with passes up the court with a high feel for the game. He is a three level scorer with tough downhill takes, threes off the catch with a super quick release, mid-range pull-ups and changes speeds well plus has a polished floater game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2396374' first='Levi' last='Carter'] Willow Canyon

A highly skilled point guard with a high feel for the game. He has a fluid handle to get past his defenders and will score with floaters, tough layups, mid-range pull-ups and threes off the catch. He should have a bigger role next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2337138' first='Jadd' last='Agha'] Phoenix Country Day

A long and very tall wing forward had the best shooting weekend of any prospect. He rattled in 12+ triples off the catch and some were crossovers into a pull-up three. He can handle it and make plays with drive and kicks and passes it well for his size. He will score with hook shots inside after he will pick and roll to the basket and rise up to score it.

[player_tooltip player_id='2605811' first='Elijah' last='Idlebird-Slaughter'] Carl Hayden

A physical defensive-minded point guard will score with driving layups in traffic using his slick handle to get past his defenders. He also will use ball fakes into a layup and he is a good on-ball defender moving his feet quick laterally.

[player_tooltip player_id='2466409' first='Mason' last='Brown'] Crismon

A scoring lead guard talks on defense and plays a cerebral brand of basketball. The lefty has a strap. He gets hot very quickly and will rattle in three off the catch one by one. He will move without the ball and has a sneaky burst to the basket to get downhill. He went on his own personal run on day two.

[player_tooltip player_id='2507236' first='Miles' last='Fredericks'] Corona del Sol

A very skilled wing forward with good court awareness and a bigger IQ. He scores with mid-range pull-ups, threes off the catch and he will dribble drive in traffic. He will hesitate and has a sneaky burst to the basket. He plays a fundamentally sound game.
