<p><strong>TOP PERFORMANCE</strong>: Volcano Vista senior guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1488493' first='Rian' last='Gonzales']</strong> had a night against Piedra Vista on Thursday. He drilled a state record 17 3-pointers and scored 62 points in the Hawks' 98-45 victory over Piedra Vista in a District 5A-1 game. Volcano Vista is 20-2 (neither loss to a NM opponent) as they seek a fourth straight Class 5A championship. </p>
