<p>With the state tournaments looming and teams securing their spots for a chance to win a state title, I took a look into each district within each class to see who's headed to the state tournaments. Here is District 2's 1A tournament which consists of the Emerald Sound Conference and then a crossover with District 1 for 2 more spots at the state tournament.</p>

<p>For the play-in games, 10th seed University Prep upset 7th seed Eastside Prep, 30-25. Eastside Prep would see their season end. 9th seed Granite Falls defeated 8th seed South Whidbey, 47-42. South Whidbey would be eliminated. </p>

<p>Now the bracket turns into double elimination. 1 seed Kings defeated 9th seed Granite Falls, 72-42. Granite Falls would go to the loser-out section of the bracket. 2 seed Bear Creek defeated 10th seed University Prep, 57-31 to advance. University Prep would go to the loser-out section of the bracket. 3rd seed Overlake defeated 6th seed Cedar Park Christian, 60-34. Cedar Park Christian would go to the loser-out section of the bracket. 5th seed Bush upset 4th seed Northwest, 71-69 to advance. Northwest would go to the loser-out section of the bracket.</p>

<p>In the semi-finals part of the bracket, 1 seed Kings took on 5th seed Bush. Kings would win, 62-60 behind big games from [player_tooltip player_id='1685494' first='Colton' last='Adams'] and Dozie Asinobi, they would advance on. Bush would go to the loser-out section of the bracket. 2 seed Bear Creek played 3 seed Overlake. Bear Creek would dominate, 85-60 with [player_tooltip player_id='2677046' first='Caleb' last='Branch'] hitting some big shots. The Overlake would go to the loser-out section of the bracket. </p>

<p>In the loser out section for this round, 6th seed Cedar Park Christian played 10th seed University Prep. Cedar Park Christian would win, 40-29 and advance while University Prep would be eliminated. 4th seed Northwest played 9th seed Granite Falls. Northwest would win, 50-47 and advance with Granite Falls seeing their season end.</p>

<p>In the Emerald Sound 1A championship game, Kings would play Bear Creek. Both teams would advance to the state tournament regardless but, Kings would win the league title with [player_tooltip player_id='1685494' first='Colton' last='Adams'] stepping up once again.</p>

<p>In the loser out section, the losers of the semi-finals games would play each other. The winner would advance to the state tournament while the loser would go to the District 1/2 crossover. Overlake would win, 60-51 to advance to state. Bush will go to the District 1/2 crossover for another chance to go to state.</p>

<p>In the other loser-out game, Northwest would play Cedar Park Christian. The winner would advance to the District 1/2 crossover and the loser would be eliminated entirely. Cedar Park Christian would win, 54-51 to advance to the District 1/2 crossover. Northwest would have their season end.</p>

<p>The top 2 seeds from District 1 will play the 4th and the 5th seeds from District 2 for 2 more spots in the 1A state tournament.</p>

<p>District 1's top seed Lynden Christian took on District 2's number 5 seed, Cedar Park Christian. The Lyncs would win, 73-31 with Gannon Dystkra doing it all on the court. They would advance to state.</p>

<p>Districts 1's 2nd team, Meridian, would take on District 2's number 6 seed, Bush. Meridian would win, 83-46 and advance to state. [player_tooltip player_id='1984464' first='Talon' last='Jenkins'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1485653' first='Jaeger' last='Fyfe'] stepped up for the Trojans in a must win game.</p>
