Sleeper Wing Prospects

These next few wing prospects really have some sleeper potential as underrated kids with the skill set to be highly impactful in different ways. Shooting, rebounding, slashing, defending, you'll find a little bit of it all among these next four wings.    The 6-foot-5 Lynden wing is a skilled, big-bodied player who is a key outside shooter for the Lions. He's got a quick release and looks like a natural shooter who really makes their offense balance out with all their size inside. He's also a kid who has the strength to bang inside and does a great job helping them out on the glass and taking his time with paint takes, getting to strong bases and making sure he is balanced and in control.     A lefty wing with some slashing ability, he does well to feel space on drives and recognize when he can get all the way to the rim or when he should pull up short in space for short jumpers and runners. He shoots it well enough from outside to be a threat and has some versatility defensively, allowing him to be a solid two-way player.     Sonntag's a really good rebounder and defender, showing the anticipation, quick reactions, and athleticism to make a big impact around the rim. He's also decently poised when attacking around the paint. He can power up to the rim and finish with strength but also shows the presence to feel space and go up quickly for short touch shots.     The long wing can be a dynamic threat from the perimeter who can really hit from three but also has a solid enough handle to pair with his length in order to create space for one-to-two dribble pull-ups. His long strides are a problem for smaller defenders who often get caught in between defending against takes to the rim and the threat of the quick pull-up.
