Region 3 Outlook & Who to Watch

It never is in Region 3. Westlake still has American Fork and Lehi and it's lone region loss came from Lone Peak who they will end the regular season with. Westlake has a solid cre in it's five with [player_tooltip player_id='1571770' first='Symon' last='Sua'], [player_tooltip player_id='1476918' first='Graydin' last='Anderson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1571764' first='Kyler' last='Hadfield']. They have been getting a lot from [player_tooltip player_id='1724364' first='Malik' last='Sika'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2672276' first='Carter' last='Campbell'] as well. This team has a shot to seal the deal but it will not be easy. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Prospects:</strong> [player_tooltip player_id='1476918' first='Graydin' last='Anderson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1571770' first='Symon' last='Sua'] are both underrated players at the next level. Anderson can create and Sua can finish.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p> Lone Peak has a chance to capture a share of the region championship if they win out and the last game would be for region against Westlake if Westlake can also win out. We are seeing the coming out party of [player_tooltip player_id='1724365' first='Crew' last='Fotheringham'] and he is looking sharp. [player_tooltip player_id='1316136' first='Jackson' last='Taylor'] is as dangerous a shooter as their is the state and this team just has a lot of players that they can go to. [player_tooltip player_id='1579163' first='Austin' last='Simon'] is one of them and so is [player_tooltip player_id='2218119' first='Enoch' last='Mitchell']. Ty Cogswell could be a big difference maker as a player with size and strength that will have to play elite defense to help this team make a run. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"medium"} --> <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>The Team Nobody Wants to Play</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>American Fork is having a rough year as they have only pulled out 6 wins this season and 3 of them are in region play. If they pick up 5 wins in the second half of region play that would cause chaos in the RPI and in region standings. [player_tooltip player_id='1439711' first='Bryce' last='Mella'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2089441' first='Jax' last='Clark'] are capable and the player that has been coming along nicely is [player_tooltip player_id='1724369' first='Jax' last='Oyler']. Hawkins is a do it all guard that plays on both ends of the floor and he has a top tier motor. His athleticism has really gone up this year.
