Jacksonville, NC — The ENC Fab40 Showcase brought together the top eighth-grade basketball prospects from Eastern North Carolina for a highly competitive day of hoops at Living Water Christian School. Serving as the perfect complement to last weekend's WNC Fab40 Showcase, this event offered another elite platform for the state's young talent to test their skills. The showcase not only highlighted individual standouts but also underscored the depth of talent in the region. Here are the top frontcourt performers who impressed with their stellar play…

Barnes showcased his interior presence at the ENC Fab40 Showcase, demonstrating his ability to compete against a strong frontcourt group. With a solid frame, long arms, and sufficient strength, he excelled as a rebounder, securing boards with dependable hands. Offensively, he finished well around the rim, operating within his comfort zone close to the basket. Defensively, he altered shots and maintained a consistent presence in the paint. Barnes held his own and proved he belonged among the event's elite roster of talent from the Class of 2029.

Faulk-Warner showcased his powerful playing style, solidifying his status as one of the top frontcourt talents in the ENC Fab40 Showcase. At 6-foot-5, his physicality is a key component of his game; he consistently seeks to attack the rim with strength while also displaying comfort when facing the basket. He is confident with the ball in his hands on the perimeter, and although his competitiveness and passion occasionally impacted his focus, Faulk-Warner maximized his impact when he was engaged and producing in the paint.

Fresh off his MVP performance at the WNC Fab40 Showcase, Houston continued to dominate, stepping in as a late addition to the ENC Fab40. His relentless motor stood out once again, controlling the boards and finishing efficiently in the paint. He also showcased more of his face-up skills, hitting transition jumpers and blending high-post scoring with aggressive rim attacks. As an eighth-grader, he's the most dominant post prospect in North Carolina's 2029 class but will certainly have challengers pushing him in the coming years.

Jefferson made a strong impression with his athleticism and two-way potential at the ENC Fab40 Showcase. Standing 6-foot-6 with broad shoulders and a tremendous wingspan, he played with high energy, running the floor well and staying active in the paint on both ends. A true coast-to-coast threat, he rebounded and pushed the ball in transition, finishing above the rim with ease. His defensive presence was clear, and his flashes of offensive versatility suggest an even greater long-term upside as he continues to develop.

Tuck was back in action at the ENC Fab40 Showcase and once again put on an electrifying display of athleticism. His jaw-dropping length and explosive leaping ability made the 6-foot-7 forward a constant highlight, punctuated by back-to-back dunks that had the gym buzzing. Nearly unstoppable in transition, he also excels above the rim in the halfcourt. While added strength will enhance his defensive presence, his natural timing and instincts already establish him as a formidable shot-blocker with next-level potential.

Stay tuned for more from Prep Hoops Next!
