CLAA Tournament Top Upperclassmen Standouts

He did much of his damage in the second half as he helped the xx dodge the upset-minded Hale squad. The talented southpaw was at his best when he was on the attack as he scored on swooping drives with tough finishes off the glass. The southpaw standout was on fire from all three levels as he scored 28 points in the first half. He was scoring on smooth drives to the basket and step back 3-pointers and transition buckets. He used his strength and quickness to touch the paint on the drive and he had his perimeter stroke working as he knocked down three 3-pointers in the first half. He scored 23 points in the victory over Northwestern in the third-place game. The young lefty has a nice stroke from 3-point range and he also works the high post and mid-post area very effectively. He was a nice turnaround jumper in the lane and he can also pass it well and score on the drive from the high post. He had a 35-point performance in the first round. He is a strong lefty with good size and athleticism, which he put to good use with his ability to drive and score on acrobatic layups in the lane.
