Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2119976' first='Matthew' last='Wilson'] is an athletic and physical driver and finisher whose ability to get to the rim puts pressure on the defense and senior [player_tooltip player_id='1903780' first='Sam' last='Seiden'] is one of the best passers and pure point guards in the area who leads the team in assists and steals at 7.0 and 2.5, respectively. St. Bonaventure will have to slow down Canyon's high-scoring guard Eric Kubel to pull out the win.

How They Win: The Cowboys have been riding the shooting ability of 6-foot-4 senior guard Eric Kubel who is averaging 23.1 points per game and has knocked down 107 three-pointers, including 10 in a win over Hawthorne, and has surpassed the 25-point mark 10 times this season. Junior guard Isaac Yuhico (14.6 points per game) is another dangerous scoring threat for Canyon and senior Chigozie Osuji rounds out Canyon's double-digit scorers at 12.6 points per game. The Cowboys have prided themselves on their toughness and scrappiness to reach the Southern Section 2A championship game and have embraced their lack of size by playing an uptempo style that features sharing the ball on offense and speeding up the opponent to create turnovers on defense.
