The state scouts have been combing the 2027 and 2028 lists and whittling down the who what and where. I'd like to continue with some more content on some 2028 add-ons, both to the watch list and the rankings. Again, I'll put a (V) next to their name if they are getting solid minutes on Varsity.

[player_tooltip player_id='2759314' first='Aiden' last='Waldo'] - Forest Park (V)

Aiden is on our watch list already but I feel comfortable with us bumping him onto the rankings soon. Carries a lot of the PG load on a great Crystal Falls-Forest Park team. Has started a few games and also comes off the bench as 6th man to contribute huge minutes. Has good handles and takes care of the ball well. If you weren't looking at the player program, you would think he is a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='2758931' first='Terrance' last='Nolan'] - Houghton (V)

Currently on the WL, but should be entering the rankings soon. Haven't put my eyes on him yet, but all of my sources confirm he is getting it done in the Keweenaw. Good shooter and has helped the Gremlins to a 15-3 record. A close win over a pesky Negaunee the other day. If they seed out at #2 in District 33, there's a good chance they'll meet up with Kingsford in a district championship game at Kingsford.

[player_tooltip player_id='2626487' first='Alex' last='Prins'] - Gladstone (V)

Gladstone on a bit of a reload this season, but they have some pretty solid talent in the younger classes. Watched Alex a fair amount during his AAU campaign with [program_tooltip program_id='2075498' first='Great' last='Northern Elite']. He has handles, the ability to play downhill, and a good shot from anywhere on the court. He does a good job with positive energy and does a great job keeping morale high within the ranks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2758929' first='Brody' last='Daigneau'] - Menominee (JV & V)

Solid 2028 who has been making contributions on JV and Varsity this year. Watched him a lot last year during his AAU campaign with [program_tooltip program_id='2075498' first='Great' last='Northern Elite'] and he played hard-nosed basketball each time I watched him. Good at driving the baseline and scoring or dishing. Creates good offense from the elbow as well. Solid defender and usually matches up against the opposing team's quickest player.

Samuel Lee - L'anse (V)

Working on getting Sam Lee on the WL as we speak. sometimes it's tough to put eyes on kids 5 hours away, but we do our best to connect with local coaches and basketball gurus who give us the best intel possible. Sam Lee has been doing great things for the Purple Hornets. Another kid I haven't put eyes on yet, but his HUDL profile is loaded. We'll be watching this young man as the season progresses on where to insert him into the rankings.

We'll be dropping one of these every few days until we have a lot of these 2028's covered in Northern Michigan. Enjoy!
