<p><strong>Best Player</strong>: <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1717249' first='Hayden' last='Bruhn']</strong> has helped lead Logan, ranked No. 9 in the MaxPreps statewide poll, to an undefeated start to the season. The Longhorns are 12-0 after walloping Melrose, 85-61, Monday night. The 6-foot-7 Bruhn scored 30 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the win. He now has 8 double-doubles on the season. Bruhn is averaging 20.1 points and 11.8 rebounds per game as a junior. </p>

<p><strong>Blake Begay, Shiprock</strong>: Scored 13 points in Shiprock's hard-fought loss to Kirtland Central. Begay is a sophomore.</p>

The 6-foot-4 Mireles closed the surge with a 3-pointer from the corner with about 1:30 left.</p>
