[player_tooltip player_id='2544211' first='JJ' last='Gray'] comes from some pretty strong blood lines. His dad Justin Gray is currently the Head Coach of Coastal Carolina University. Gray played at Wake Forest University before having a lengthy career playing pro ball. JJ finished with 18 points in the win for the Panthers. He came into the contest tonight averaging 20.9 ppg tonight for the Panthers.

JJ plays one step ahead of his teammates with his ability to pick up plays and feel for the game. He was able to drop some floaters in the lane when he wasn't stalking the baseline at times. Standing at 6-foot-4 already look for him to keep growing a bit more. He was able to knockdown some three-pointers here today. JJ sees the floor very well and shows to have a solid set of handles so far at his young age.
