Leartist heads this talented class and finds himself as the #1-ranked player in the first edition of the rankings. He is a versatile scoring threat with a tool kit loaded with a developing arsenal. He has good positional size and flashes his explosiveness and athleticism when attacking the cup. He is showing the expansion of his game by playing out on the perimeter, but his true dominance is on the inside of the arc and in the paint. He has good natural instincts on both ends of the floor, and his impact can be felt across the stat sheet.

Jordan is the #2-ranked player in this class and is emerging into one of the best true floor generals in the state regardless of class. His development is on max as he is learning from probably the best backcourt in the state. He is a heady PG with an IQ that is beyond his years. He already has a mature floor game and is really good at orchestrating the offense. He is not needed to produce a high volume of points this year, so he is really being able to hone his skills at the lead guard spot. He has really good court vision, court awareness, and passing skills.

Brooks is one of the most intriguing prospects in this class with his play this year. His emergence has surprised many, as not many thought he would have the caliber impact he is having this year. He has been a force on the low block and is an extremely hard-playing prospect. He has given the Bearcats an inside presence who they can play through. He battles on the glass and makes opposing players earn everything on the low block. The scary thought is that many did not think this type of play would be seen until another year or two, but it is already here, and the future is looking bright because he still has a lot of physical growth in his future.

Coach Denton has shared with me numerous times that Deonte is sometimes the best player on the court in practice. He is a dynamic playmaker with a vast scoring repertoire. He scores at all levels and is a threat in iso situations, transition, and ball-screen action.

Antonio caught my eye last year as an 8th grader playing varsity, and I was having coaches call me asking if I had seen him play. I had so many questions to ask; I just had to go and watch, and he did not disappoint. The impressive thing about Antonio is his development from last year to this year. He is playing with more confidence, an enhanced skill set, and a willingness to play both ends of the floor, and this is a good reason why many believe Huffman will be in Birmingham this year. I like his size, skillset, and ability to score with variety. I would not be surprised if he eventually makes a case for the #1-spot in this class.

Lee is a shooting guard with good positional size and can knock down the perimeter shot. He can hurt a defense off the catch and coming off screens. The strength of his game is by far his outside stroke, but he can put it on the floor and create if he has to. However, he is still growing in this area of his game. As both ends of the floor continue to grow and merge and he becomes an overall complete player, he has the potential to have a lot of looks coming his way from the next level.
