Here are the 2027 Central Jersey guard prospects who have been making names for themselves.

[player_tooltip player_id='2202014' first='Rey' last='Weinseimer'], 6'1 PG Manasquan

Weinseimer has emerged onto the scene for the Warriors this year as he is averaging nearly 20 points per game. The 6'1 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. Weinseimer does more than just shoot as he can also beat his defender off the bounce and has a nice touch on his floater. He shoots the ball with confidence in crunch time and uses his quick hands to get deflections on defense. Weinseimer has four games with at least 25 points and is looking to increase that number as the season progresses.

[player_tooltip player_id='2621818' first='Hunter' last='Hynes'], 6'3 SG Point Pleasant Boro

Hynes has the ability to play on the perimeter as well, making him an intriguing prospect to watch in the class. The 6'3 guard has a clean shooting stroke and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Hynes moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the halfcourt. He has the length to defend multiple spots on the floor and is an underrated rebounder. Hynes has a pair of 30-point games this season and has the potential for more games like that over the next couple of weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2428329' first='Tommy' last='Denvir'], 6'1 SG/PG Delaware Valley

Denvir has taken a big step up this season as he has established himself as the go-to guy on the perimeter. The 6'1 guard has a good release on his jumper and needs a little bit of space to get his shot off. Denvir can also get into the paint off the bounce and finishes nicely around the rim. He moves well without the ball in his hands and is an underrated passer. Denvir is a sharpshooting guard prospect who should continue to torch the nets from distance this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2619587' first='Justin' last='Valentino'], 6'2 SG Red Bank Regional

Valentino has hit big shots this season for the Buccaneers and is getting more comfortable within the offense. The 6'2 guard has a good first step, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finishes nicely around the basket. Valentino sets his feet before he shoots and rarely forces jumpers in the halfcourt. He is a strong rebounder and slides his feet on the defensive end. Valentino put up a career high 14 points in his last game and is looking to eclipse that mark at some point this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2344532' first='Nolan' last='Gong'], 5'10 PG Marlboro

Gong has shouldered a bigger load for the Mustangs this season as he leads the team in both points and assists this season. The 5'10 guard has a smooth shooting stroke and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Gong is more than just a shooter as he can also get to the rim off the bounce and finish around the basket. He finds his open teammates in the halfcourt and can get deflections on the defensive end. Gong has a pair of 20-point games this season and is looking to add to that total over the next couple of weeks.
