PH Arkansas Early Season Standouts in the Backcourt

Here are several players to watch out for this season over the next few months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>KD Hicks-Point Guard-Little Rock Christian-6'2” 2027</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>KD Hicks is the type of point guard the can fill up the stat sheet in quick fashion. He is a guard that does a great job of breaking down the opposing defense. Hicks is unselfish with the basketball and looks to get his teammates involved quickly. He is an accurate shooter and can hit from anywhere on the floor with impressive consistency. On Friday night, Hicks posted 16 points, six rebounds, and four assists on the night for the Warriors. He is a player to watch out for in 2025.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2960791' first='Jace' last='Sullivan']-Shooting Guard-Conway-6'4” 2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Opposing defenders must be aware of [player_tooltip player_id='2960791' first='Jace' last='Sullivan'] every time he steps on the basketball court. Sullivan has tremendous range and can hit consistently from anywhere on the floor. He does a nice job of staying active on both ends of the floor. Sullivan has no trouble getting free from defenders and getting his shot away. Against Harrison, Sullivan struck for 27 points and made it tough on Harrison defenders most of the night. He is a play who can get it going on both ends of the floor with no trouble. Against Bryan Station in Kentucky, Bead put on display his abilities on both ends of the floor. He put up 21 points, four assists, four rebounds, and two steals on the night. The Hornets pulled out an impressive victory against Bryant Station 74-64. He handles the ball well and seems to have a good sense of where his teammates are on the floor. Hallam stays active on both ends of the floor and keeps his hands active on the defensive end. He is a guard that can get inside as well as shoot the three-point jumper. He is a player to watch over the next few years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
