Perry Meridian vs Creston- 2029 Top players

These young men have a very bright future in the high school ranks next season!    Isaiah is the prototype of what a point guard should be. He's an excellent passer who really excels at getting his teammates involved on the offensive end of the floor. Isaiah showed great leadership by running the Perry Meridian offense with precision. His mastery of orchestrating the plays lead to positive outcomes for the team. He's an above average ball handler who's capable of blowing by defenders and scoring at the basket. Isaiah can knock down shots from anywhere on the floor. Whether its mid or long range, this young guy can nail it. Oh, did I mention how Isaiah comes through in the clutch? Well, he did big time! This little guy caught a pass behind the arc and swished the game winner from the right corner. He's a good on-ball defender who excelled at forcing turnovers with good timing and quick hands. Isaiah has a bright future ahead of him. I plan on keeping track of his basketball growth in the near future. Keep working Isaiah!!     Riley just continues to shine whenever I see him play. This is my second write up for this young man. Riley has grown a couple of inches since I watched him play AAU ball this past summer. He excels at breaking defenders down off the dribble and attacking the basket. Most of his damage was in the paint during the game against Creston. Riley plays like a point forward. This young man handled the ball and showed a knack for making plays within the Perry Meridian offense. He's an excellent passer with great court vision. Riley was great at setting up his teammates with easy scores at rim. He can also knock down perimeter shots and extend his range beyond the three point line. Defensively, he used his length to block shots and make scoring difficult for Creston players. He finished the game with (14 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks) Riley is a great all-around player who will immediately excel at the high school level. Stay on your grind Riley!!     This young man is a true floor general for his Creston squad. He's a good all-around player who lead his team in assists during Thursday nights game. He has excellent ball handling skills. DJ was great at making positive plays for his teammates by dissecting the Perry Meridian defense. DJ excelled at using his speed to attack the basket and score over taller defenders. He was really good at using floaters when he drove into the paint. DJ is capable of knocking down shots from mid or long range. He demonstrated this ability by nailing multiple threes during the game, Defensively, he uses his speed and timing to play passing lanes and generate steals. He's also an excellent on-ball defender who made it difficult for his opponent to be effective. DJ is a good point guard who has the potential to be a special player in the near future. Keep it up DJ!!     Tre'von is a really good all-around player. The big man was dominant in the game against Perry Meridian. Most of his damage was done in the paint or in transition when the team had opportunities to run. He excelled at rebounding the basketball among every other player on the court. I'm certain Tre'von finished the game with a double-double. Just watching him play, I strongly believe he shows the effort and tenacity needed to average double-digit points and rebounds for a season. Many of his baskets came from scoring the ball through contact and converting three point play opportunities from the free throw line. He can also run the floor and finish on the break with his athleticism. On defense, this guy was a monster shot-blocker! Tre'von denied the opposition from attacking the paint on a number of occasions. He definitely made scoring difficult for the Perry Meridian team. I can see Tre'von making an easy transition into high school basketball. Keep it up Tre'von!!
