Peak Performers Pt. 3

The group of players below have shown excellency on a consistent basis and are showing no signs of slowing down. They're all players you want to catch live if you get the opportunity to do so.    David is a solid, skilled point guard with powerful driving ability that's incredibly difficult to stop at the rim. He moves with grace in the air, constantly using his frame and length to get himself into the best position for a bucket. He's quick and strong and there aren't many areas where you can find weaknesses in his game. His handle is excellent and his situational awareness is off the charts. He seems to know where and when his opponents are passing, leading to consistent steals and extra points for his squad. Defenders flock to him which gives him easy opportunities for one-handed dishes to wide-open teammates. He has an impressive vertical ability which he uses to wow the crowd with slams or stuff his opponents on the defensive end. Darko is already receiving solid attention and deservedly so. He's a winning player that's going to significantly elevate any squad he's on.     Joshua is an impactful, talented combo guard that moves incredibly well with and without the ball. He's effective and patient when sizing up his defender with a rapid first step that gives him the ability to blow by anyone who dares to challenge him. His cuts to the hoop often result in rim-rattling dunks and a rowdy crowd to go along with it. He's an intelligent player that makes heads-up plays for his squad on a regular basis. His step-back jumper is solid and he can get hot in a hurry from beyond the arc. He reads the opposing offense effectively, leading to multiple steals on defense and easy fast breaks the other way. Kaegea has all the tools in his game to be a championship player and I think he'll continue to ascend from here.     Jason is a skilled lefty shooting guard that consistently makes winning plays for his team on both ends of the floor. He's patient and composed under pressure, consistently working his way from good shots to great shots for himself or a cutting teammate. His floater in the lane is incredibly difficult to stop, even for the lengthiest of defenders down low. He's active on defense and just as unstoppable - regularly racking up steals and blocks leading to extra possessions for his squad. he has the ability to finish through contact he can knock down the three-ball with ease. One of my favorite things about his game is the way he reads opposing passes similar to an NFL cornerback, seeing and realizing where his opponent's going and then pouncing for an easy pick and deuce on the other end. Wickliff is a ton of fun to watch and a true difference-maker for his team.     David is a lengthy, skilled combo guard that moves excellently without the ball and uses the glass impressively well. He knows where to be to get himself the best looks on the floor and his teammates are fantastic at calling his number and consistently finding him. He can heat up quickly and knock it down consistently from three and he loves to get in the mix in the paint for an easy cut to the hoop or high-percentage putback attempt. He's got a nice floater that he likes to utilize off the dribble and it comes in especially handy when he faces bigger opponents in the paint. The balls seems to gravitate toward him, which only means one thing - he puts in the work needed to be great off the floor and he puts in the hustle to consistently make a positive impact on it.     Chazz is a long, skilled player that makes a positive impact on both ends of the floor in multiple ways. He never quits on plays - following his shots, battling for rebounds, and identifying the best opportunities available for his team. He has nice footwork in the paint that frees him up to get the best looks and rack up points in a hurry. He's patient and he has the ability to bring the ball down the court just like a point guard. His passing is impressive - quick, smart dishes that lead to easy conversions for his teammates. His versatility could find him as an oop to an alley or it's just as likely he's an alley for a teammate's oop. You can play Brown in multiple spots and get top-notch production, which is only going to significantly increase the amount of eyes on him as he continues to put in the work and perform at a high level.
