New Name Guards to Watch

He's a quick guard who can score or facilitate from the point, though last season both he and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2816992' first='Stavontai' last='McSwain']</strong> were asked to do a fair amount of scoring. He has shown some extended range from 3-point and can also make some plays with his quickness on the defensive end. He brought a lot of pace to the floor and was a hard worker, getting consistent penetration and doing well to get under control by the hoop for kickouts. He's just 6-foot-1 but he has a strong frame and was using it to make some great slashes and finishes in their season opener, as well as pick up fouls and get to the line. He also did some good work off the dribble in the midrange to create space and knock down jumpers, and showed he can stretch the floor from three. He's a kid who can get involved in a lot of ways, making drives and grabbing big boards against Rogers (Puyallup), and then knocking down some long-range shots and playing stout defense against Mark Morris.
