MICDS Tournament Monday Night Standouts

In the first game, Francis Howell edged Fort Zumwalt North in a thriller. Host MICDS defeated Duchesne and Kirkwood defeated Maplewood in the final game of the day. He is an excellent athlete who was all over the place, especially the offensive boards where he had a number of putbacks. He is one of the best rebounding guards in the state. He also knocked down a 3-pointer at the first quarter buzzer. He has been a bucket since he entered high school as a freshman four years ago. He is a creative scorer off the dribble and he was on fire from long distance as he knocked down six 3-pointers. He made four 3-pointers during the game as was knocking them down off the catch and also creating off the dribble. He had the 3-point shot clicking in the first half as he drained three from long distance. He is physically strong to muscle into the lane and he can break down defenders off the dribble to score at all three levels.
