First up is Bertrand. As a calm lead guard, he was the table setter for his teammates. Feeding the two Alex's (Constanza and Lloyd) on the squad and pushing the pace. Bertrand was also instrumental in leading a 3rd quarter surge for the Lions to bring the score a bit closer by being vocal on the court, calling out plays and directing traffic to get his guys in the right spots to succeed.

Daniels slots in as more of a do-it-all type of combo guard. He showed strong slashing ability on offense to draw defenders in his wake and free up Constanza or Lloyd for cleaner looks but also rebounded at a high rate for his size. With a silky jumper, Daniels is poised to play a bigger role this season and take some of the burden off the Alex's.

Raicevic was the bruiser in the paint who mostly had the daunting assignment of keeping pace with Ponder from West Oaks. He showed some nice touch around the basket paired with strong footwork. Raicevic also had an impressive array of fake out moves to draw his defender in the air when he had position for layups. He was very fundamentally sound.

Muambu, now at West Oaks, played a very strong game and was able to carve out helpful minutes of a team of upperclassmen. He was the 2nd post off the bench and was active defensively and able to switch to the perimeter in a pinch when needed. His footspeed and agility allowed him to keep pace on those switches when they occurred before he dropped back to his comfort zone in the post.

Joseph is a rugged lead guard who thrives heading downhill to the basket. He plays the game with one speed right now, so that could be an area of opportunity in reading defenses in the futures and knowing where and how to attack but at this point, his frame can take the contact and still allow him to finish strong at the rim or stop on a dime in the paint and drop a floater in.
