For the last two years the read on him was, 'high-ceiling and still quite raw.' There is more to like with Leeth and he is still a upside guy. He did not demonstrate the ability to hit deep shots against Maryville. That would be the piece that can lift him from likely D1 player to D1 volume scorer. What is impressive now is his body control. Leeth can contort his slender body around physical defenders and still finish acrobatically. Shooting mechanics are great.

12/9/24: Tremendous defensive instincts. Shavar is the kind of athlete that could play college basketball or college football. Because he focuses so hard on football, his basketball skills really stagnate much of the year. Still, he defends at an elite level. Uses his strength to score inside. Rebounds at an elite level for a high school guard. The crazy thing is Knox Webb does not NEED another guard to be successful, but they have the dynamic two-way player logging high-pressure minutes.

12/9/24: [player_tooltip player_id='2358309' first='Jonathan' last='Woodlee'] was very impressive at creating his own shot.
