He operated out of the post a lot and was outstanding as a driver. Sam uses his body well and isn't afraid of contact. He has a lot of crafty finishes with his left and was unstoppable all game. Sam had a huge and 1 to give Battlefield a lead, and he was fantastic down the stretch of this game. He hit a clutch shot that gave Woodgrove the lead with a few minutes left. Then, he hit a long three that sent this game into overtime at the buzzer. Caleb was a major source of offense for a Woodgrove team missing key players. Nate McCombs was fantastic early for Lake Braddock. He finished around the rim and did well finding openings in Lightridge's zone. Tyee got started early, hitting a few threes, and he did a good job scoring from all over the court. Tyee is a good athlete and has a fantastic jump shot. Tyee plays both guard positions, and he had a huge day for Lake Braddock. One Atlee player who was really impressive was [player_tooltip player_id='2242389' first='Will' last='Hopkins']. Will got the game started with a three, and he flashed his elite athleticism all game. He had a couple of thunderous dunks, and he did a great job passing. Will drove effectively and knocked down a few mid-range jumpers. Oakton could not stop him from driving to his left, and he took over this game late doing that.
