He shows a really good feel for the PG spot and is showing his development as a facilitator. He does a really good job creating off-the-bounce and distributing while attacking gaps. He gets his teammates involved by being able to make the necessary passes. He sees the game well, and the Patriots are in good hands over the next couple of years at the PG spot.

[player_tooltip player_id='2748311' first='Kam' last='Foster'] (6'1/CG/'28/Homewood)

IG: Showtime_kam2

X: @Showtime_kam2

Kam is a backcourt talent who can play on and off the ball. He spends most of his time at the off-guard position, where he showed his ability to be a multi-level scorer. He is tough off the bounce, a scorer who can create for himself, and one of the best finishers I have seen on the JV level. He has a smooth game with fluid movements and is a talent to keep an eye on over the next couple of years.

[player_tooltip player_id='2729598' first='Clayton' last='Blaze Neely'] (6'3/F/'27/Mortimer Jordan)

IG: blaze_neely2

X: @NeelyBlaze

Clayton is a versatile prospect who shoots the ball well from the perimeter as he has shown his ability to knock down the trey ball as well as get into his middle game off the bounce. He is good at getting to the cup and has a nice touch around the rim. He is very active and impacts the stat sheet, particularly the scoring and rebounding column.

Brycen Rasheed Harris (5'7/PG/'28/Mortimer Jordan)

IG: sno.bryce

Brycen is a small lead guard who does a good job at getting into the heart of the defense. He is really tough to contain off the bounce and is why he seems to live in the paint. He showed a nice floater game but has to continue to get stronger to make the passes he tries to make at times once he is in the paint. His ability to push the pace and break down defenders cannot be denied, regardless of his size.

Mykah Bland (5'9/CG/'26/Pelham)

IG: Mykah_b1

Mykah is a junior playing JV, and I always have much respect for juniors willing to play another year on JV, often to wait their turn for a spot on a loaded varsity team. Mykah is a two-way factor who is very tough off the bounce offensively and is very aggressive with active, hands on defense. He scores well in traffic and through contact, as he constantly puts pressure on the rim. He consistently brings effort and energy to the defensive end of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2729604' first='Nicholas' last='Vinson, Jr.'] (6'3/SF/'27/Pelham)

IG: Showtime.n1c23

X: @ShowtimeNic23

Nicholas is a talented wing player who has shown a lot of potential. There are moments when he could be viewed as the most talented player on the floor, and then there are moments when he disappears. He can have a stretch where he makes a chase-down block and finishes on the other end at the rim with craftiness. There is a lot to like about his game, but he has to learn to put it all together over the entire course of the game. He is a player to watch as he continues to develop.

Carson Hall (5'8/PG/'27/Clay)

IG: carsen11_

Carson has shown his ability to be a bucket-getter from all levels. He has a wide array of scoring tools, which makes him a perilous scoring threat on the offensive end of the floor. The 5'8 size is a question that will come up as he looks to step onto the varsity level. However, he can only control what he can at the moment, and that is his current play, which is highly competitive. He impacts both ends of the floor and is a high-energy lead guard with a good understanding of the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2729460' first='Fernandez' last='Hill'] (6'0/CG/'27/Huntsville)

IG: iam.dez.hill

X: @iamdezhill

Fernandez is a backcourt talent who is finding his way in the Huntsville system. He has shown to be a secondary ball-handler as well as a guard who can serve in the role of initiating the offense. He can attack off the bounce and either score or spray to the open shooters. In a program that will be losing a lot after this year, Fernandez has shown that he is capable of replacing some of the production next year.

Here are a few players who have made an impact during the first half of the season…
