This group features some of the state's top scorers and playmakers.

Below are five prospects to watch on the wing this winter in the VPA.

[player_tooltip player_id='2568509' first='Leander' last='Buckley']

Buckley, a sophomore at Burlington, has the chance to have a breakout year this winter. He has good size and length on the perimeter, makes some impressive passes in the half-court, and can consistently knock down shots from behind the arc. He's an active defender that can guard multiple positions while being tough on the ball and jumping passing lanes for easy steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='2325800' first='Evan' last='Eaton']

At 6'2", Eaton has the size to play at multiple spots for Rice Memorial. He's particularly effective when attacking the rim off the bounce and finishing with athleticism at the rim. He's a capable secondary ball-handler, makes good decisions as a passer in the half-court, and can score from the second and third level when needed. On top of that, he's a strong rebounder for his position.

[player_tooltip player_id='2325785' first='Owen' last='Eaton']

The other Eaton brother, Owen, is one of the top scoring wings in all of the VPA. The Rice Memorial product is an electric open floor finisher, shows some creativity off the bounce as a scorer, and can score consistently from behind the arc. He's a tough open floor defender that quickly turns steals and deflections into conversion scoring opportunities.

[player_tooltip player_id='2553776' first='Noah' last='Jenks']

Jenks, a 6'2" wing out of Windsor, profiles as one of the VPA's top two-way performers. A prospect capable of making plays on the perimeter or in the paint, he does a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor. He's a strong defensive rebounder, offers some rim protection from the help side, and can score from all three levels on the other end of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2546968' first='Kerrick' last='Medose']

Medose, a talented scorer out of St. Johnsbury, might be the top perimeter shooter in the entire VPA. He does a good job of moving without the basketball, does his work early to be shot ready, and has in the gym range on his jumper. He takes care of the basketball, is a willing ball mover, and does a good job of attacking bad closeouts to finish inside the paint.
