<p>Thanksgiving week I attended five tournaments and one stand alone game for exactly 24 games and 48 different teams. The events I watched were <strong>Phoenix Union Coyote Classic</strong> at Central HS, <strong>Beyond Basketball Thanksgiving Basketball Tournament</strong> at Moon Valley, <strong>Millennium at Sandra Day O'Connor, Fear The Hop Tournament</strong> at Mesa HS, <strong>Sentinel Holiday Classic</strong> at Seton Catholic and Horizon Honors and lastly the <strong>LV8 Invitational</strong> at Chandler-Gilbert CC. </p>

<p>A high motored power forward turned some heads this week. He came in as the six man and grabbed an eye popping 16 rebounds on both sides of the court. He scores it around the basket and can fluidly defend inside and out. His stock is way up. </p>

<p>A quick and athletic scoring point guard can fill it up. He had 27 points with six catch threes and mid-range pull-ups with high elevation. He is fast on the break and a plus rebounder for size. He will gab a loose ball and race up the floor for a layup. </p>

<p>A power forward who runs the floor and plays with a high motor. He is one of the better out of area rebounders in the senior class. He scored 18 points on hook shots, dunks, reverse layups and put backs.</p>

<p>An athletic wing forward who can score it with mid-range pull-ups, threes off the catch, quick bursts to the basket and will rebound and take it coast to coast. He is very good in transition and in the passing lanes. He scored 16 points. </p>

<p>A stocky framed scoring guard has a nice looking compact stroke from the three point line. He scored 23 points with transition buckets, jumpers and rebounds well with his sturdy frame. </p>

<p>The two-sport athlete is very good on defense with twitchy reflexes to collect steals in bunches. He scored 20 points with blow by's and his skill is improving from deep with range. He can also drive and kick it to make plays for his teammates. </p>

<p>A wing forward who can score from inside and out. He has a nice touch to score it inside in traffic with improving post footwork and then step out and hit the three off the catch. </p>

<p>The big man had 26 points and he rebounds everything with great hands and sticky fingers. He literally may of had close to 20 rebounds. His hands and timing to rebound are elite. He scores with put backs, layups and hook shots. </p>

<p>A powerful forward who can handle it and create his own offense for himself and others. He will power thru the defenders and will do a quick spin move off of them. He has strong hands to rebound in heavy traffic and can shoot it from mid-range. He blocks shots and will collect steals plus make plays for his teammates with advanced court vision for a forward. He scored 19 points. </p>

<p>A bigger combo guard has been playing well as of late. He is a three level scorer to face-up from mid to three, rip thru and drive it with longer strides or dime a teammate. He will jump stop and play off of two-feet and kick it to a teammate. He scored 15+ points with five assists. </p>

<p>A scoring lead guard can score with drives with his off hand. The lefty can get downhill to score thru contact with an elusive handle. He has an easy three point stroke with a quicker trigger. He can create a little separation with his handle but is best off the catch. He scored a team high 20 points. </p>
