John is an undersized post but very tough, physical, and athletic. A lot of his production is done in the paint, but he also has the ability to step out on the perimeter and shoot the ball really well in his arsenal. John is the ultimate glue guy for his squad and provides leadership. His presence on the floor is huge for Camden and the success they are looking to have at the classic.

Miller is the inside presence for the host, Jasper HS. He is a stout interior post with size. He is an old-school, back-to-the-basket post player who can be extremely dominant at times. He plays hard and is aggressive when making his moves to the rim and when going to the glass. He is a really good passer out of the paint and has grown in his ability to play out of the double team. He clogs up the middle on defense, making it challenging for opponents to get easy looks in the paint.

DeWayne is the #1-ranked player in the 2025 class, and the Tennessee signee continues to cement his case for player of the year with his dominant play. I am looking for DeWayne to have a really impressive performance on this stage. He continues to expand his game as he not only dominates on the low block but is now scoring a lot more out on the perimeter. He is moving better on his feet, and his hands continue to be a strong functionality of his game.

Jackson has emerged as a highly sought-after post-player. He has backed up DeWayne for a couple of years, and now he is starting to see action on the floor with DeWayne, as Hoover is really tough to deal with when both players are on the court at the same time. He could have easily gone to any other school in the state and been their starting post. However, he has chosen to stay at Hoover, and the experience he has gained is so valuable as he continues to grow into a dominating force on both ends of the floor. Jackson is playing with tremendous confidence and is showing a well-polished post-game where he can score with his back to the basket or with the ability to step out and face up.

Daniel is a walking double-double who is also good at altering shots on the defensive end of the floor. He still has work to do with his frame, but his length helps him to be a problem on both ends of the floor. He does a good job finishing in the paint, around the rim, and above the rim. He isn't the most physical interior presence, but he is constant on the glass. He is going to have a significant size difference in both matchups at the classic as his team takes on Buckhorn and Northridge.

Djevan is a versatile four-man who can stretch the floor. His 6'10 frame and ability to play inside and out make him a matchup nightmare. His versatility is seen on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he can guard multiple positions and cover a lot of ground around the rim when contesting shots. He impacts the game on both ends and there is not going to be anyone whom he plays against at the classic that can match what he brings to the floor.

Axton has a lot of potential, and there are a lot of expectations surrounding him from his coaching staff. His coaches believe that he can be a pivotal piece to how successful they can be as a unit this year. He has a 6'11 wingspan and is a pretty good athlete who can alter or block shots, as well as rebound at a high rate. He impacts the game inside and out, and for his size, he moves his feet well enough to keep wings/guards in front of him. The matchup against Hoover is going to present a huge test for Axton as he will be matched up against nationally ranked DeWayne brown of Hoover.

Matthew Lowe (6'5/PF/'26/Lausanne Collegiate School)

Matthew is a strong interior presence who has high expectations surrounding him from his coaching staff. They are looking for him to have a breakout season and be a high-impact player on both ends of the floor. Matthew is strong with a solid frame. He is a player who can score on the block, shoot the midrange, and grab a high number of rebounds. He competes at a high level and has a tremendous motor.

Jayden is Camden's inside presence, and while he is only 6'4, undersized, and this being his first year getting real varsity minutes, he is providing solid production on the inside. He plays hard and with a motor, is very coachable, and does well against bigger players at his position. He brings leadership and high energy, and, despite his size, will be a tough matchup for the opposing team's post players.
