Arcadia Valley Tournament Top Underclassmen

He averaged 26 points in the three games, including 37 in the first round. The kid was getting buckets from all three levels and he did it with creativity and smooth handles to get off his own shot. He was money from 3-point range and he would knife into the lane for runners and floaters. He was very effective on the drive as he was finding seams in the defense and attacking at every opportunity. He was also knocking down short jumpers and getting to the free throw line. He is long and rangy with good athleticism. He was able to use that length to get some key blocked shots in the championship game. He was beat on the dribble on one play, but he was able to track the ball and get the block. He was very good at stopping and popping at the mid-range as he knocked down pull up jumpers from the elbow. His energy was limitless as he was a picture of constant motion. His activity enables him to be an effective rebounder for his size. I was also impressed with his court vision and passing ability. He had a couple of no-look passes that were very impressive.
