7 New Names to Know

He challenges ballhandlers and will play as physically as the refs will allow. He forces guys off their spots, will battle for long rebounds, and showed some toughness when handling the rock and attacking the hoop. He was knocking down shots behind the arc, used his length in the paint to pull down tough rebounds, and caught up to block shots at the rim from behind. He also made some tough shots in the paint like moving left and hitting a runner with his right hand. The lefty big man showed good touch out to 3-point, and was able to find some space along the baseline to hit jumpers. He does a great job battling for position on the offensive glass and fighting through contact to go up for second-chance points. He has some solidity to his game, is strong enough and athletic enough to convert some tough finishes around the basket, and is another kid who will battle for offensive boards. He had a couple of nice shots just above the blocks, creating a little bump and then sinking some turnaround jumpers. He moves well and has some decent agility for his size.
