PH NorCal Rankings have been updated. We do our best to put out the best rankings we can. Sometimes we miss, but we'll continue to shine the light on Northern California High School Basketball. Here are the players who made the biggest move up in our updated rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='2080074' first='Ry' last='Atkins'] 6'7 Forward Modesto Christian: An Air Force commit. The long wing forward has a frame to add muscle. He's a bit undersized right now but does give good effort defending in the post. He moves from side to side, arms extended, his feet are active. His length gives him a chance to alter shots, and go after loose balls. You can look for him crossing the paint, he has touch around the rim. In the summer we saw him hit the catch corner 3 point shot when left alone. He's in good condition, runs the court. He'll make the extra pass, set good screens. 69 to 23

[player_tooltip player_id='2406965' first='Reid' last='Brear'] 6'6 Forward Del Oro: Brear committed to San Francisco State after having a breakout summer. He gives good effort on both ends of the court. He's improved his play on the perimeter. He's confidently looking to put up shots, mid-range and 3 pointers. He's using his body and dribble to get into the paint for jumpers, or finishing through contact at the rim. He's a good rebounder, works to defend. He's a double, double guy at this level. 63 to 24.

[player_tooltip player_id='1384454' first='David' last='Balogun'] 6'7 Power Forward, De La Salle: One can argue that Balogun is the best available low post prospect in NorCal. He's strong, with a solid body. He has the touch around the rim to finish on either side. He'll play, and finish through contact. He's an improved free throw shooter. His foot work and stamina can be an issue, nonetheless he can be a dominating factor rebounding, and limiting points in the paint. He'll pass and set solid screens. You can go to him in the paint. When he's on balance using his power move, he's hard to contain. 51 to 32.

[player_tooltip player_id='1983547' first='Chad' last='Johnson'] 6'4 Shooting Guard, Sheldon: Johnson really started to show himself as a rising guard who could get a bucket in the summer. He's long with quality handles, and movements attacking from the perimeter. He gets inside for finishes around the rim using his lengthy arms. He can control pace when handling the ball up top. He's a willing passer with vision to spot open players in transition, and around the perimeter. He can hit mid-range jumpers off the dribble, and 3ptrs. 86 to 36.

[player_tooltip player_id='1572968' first='Thomas' last='Conley'] 6'4 Guard/Forward, San Ramon Valley: He's put in the work to become a versatile player who contributes in other ways, not just scoring points. His production is up across the board. He's shown consistency making 3 pointers, he's an active rebounder who scraps for loose balls. His ball handling on the perimeter, and in transition, along with good passing are noted. He's finishing strong on drives to the basket. 47 to 37

[player_tooltip player_id='1384452' first='Mason' last='Thomas'] 5'10 Point Guard, San Ramon Valley: He's an efficient point guard. He controls the pace of a game, makes good decisions running the team in half court offense. He's a content ball distributor that keeps the offense flowing. Thomas has a knack for upping his game in the 4th qtr, when the game is on the line. He'll do something to give his team a lift. A quality pass, steal or a big bucket. 57 to 39.

[player_tooltip player_id='1739784' first='Kirby' last='Seals'] 6'5 Forward, Archbishop Riordan: It looks like Seals has found a way to be a contributor for the #1 team in NorCal. He's got springs in his legs going after rebounds, and going up around the rim. He'll go after blocks with a good timed jump on occasion. He gets rebounds, runs the court, he'll finish with transition dunks. He's got good lift on the paint jumper. He makes good passes along the perimeter, with a drive or two to the basket. He's defending out on the perimeter. His best days are ahead. 52-40

[player_tooltip player_id='1403386' first='Elijah' last='Duncan'] 6'3 SG, Bear Creak: We don't see him often, but all indications are Duncan can drop 3 pointers with range from around the perimeters, and coming down court in transition. He's shot ready ready with a good release on the catch. He's tightened up his handles, moves the ball around the perimeter, not a lot of wasted dribbles. He's a long wing prospect who can take the passing lanes. 87 to 50.
