Here were some of the Forward Newcomers I viewed:

[player_tooltip player_id='2628396' first='Athos' last='Gomez'] Nogales (Pictured)

A strong framed power forward is a little undersized but very skilled. He shoots it easily with mid-range jumpers and can rattle them in. He has a nice touch off the glass and he rebounds well in his area.

[player_tooltip player_id='2630594' first='Tanner' last='Hibbs'] Marana

A big bodied power forward has an easy shooting stroke to the three point line. He is a catch and shoot standstill shooter but he can handle it a little from end to end in a pinch. He uses his skill, girth and strength to score inside the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2630596' first='Dalton' last='Yarmolovich'] Ironwood Ridge

A good sized wing forward with long arms and his best basketball ahead of him. He scores it using the floater game, he rebounds well in his area and will tip in balls with offensive rebound put backs and scores in transition. He can also shoot it from the perimeter and should have a breakout season next year and be a factor this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2161181' first='Corbyn' last='Downs'] Coolidge

A true combo guard is very fluid on the break. He will make plays for his teammates with an unselfish nature but will also score it. He will score from deep off the catch or pull-up with a quick trigger. He is someone to track going into his junior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2630600' first='Malachi' last='Kuti George'] Walden Grove

A stock riser in Tucson was only on JV per showcase director John Millyard. Malachi has long arms, decent size and a plus motor to rebound the ball. He will rip thru to get downhill and is very athletic to grab out of area balls and uses his frame to handle the pounding. He is a little raw but you can tell he is slowly coming and will become a productive varsity player this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2630602' first='Isaiah' last='Peak'] Marana

A hyper athletic wing forward who is a very good overall defender on or off the ball. He flies on the break with a graceful gait and gets to the rim in a hurry with a quick first step and good body control. He is a capable three point shooter and is a good passer up the court.
