Xavier is one of the best playmaking guards I have seen on the JV level so far. He does a good job balancing scoring and facilitating but is at his best when operating off the bounce looking for his offense. He has shown he can get his own shot off the dribble and has a nice mid-range game. He does a good job using his dribble to get to his spots, where he makes good decisions with the rock. Word in the Clay camp is that he could see varsity action in the coming weeks.

Graham is the youngest of the three Gossett boys that are currently in the Panthers program. He is a smooth backcourt talent, and Coach Schweers spoke very highly of Graham's potential after the game against Clay. He is a sturdy guard who excels at penetrating the lane and scoring from mid-range and at the rim. He also scores it well from behind the arc. He looked very comfortable running the show as well as being a bucket-getter. He is a competitor and showed that Huntsville is going to be in good hands at the guard spot for the next couple of years.

Jaurice is a lengthy interior presence with size. He made his living on the glass, especially in the early-season match-up against Ramsay. He runs the floor and cleans up misses in transition. He still has a lot of room for growth on the offensive end of the floor and with his footwork. His length has been a problem for opponents in both games. I have seen him play as he challenges shots and impacts the glass.

Antonio is a young prospect listed as a combo guard but spent majority of his time at the lead guard spot facilitating the offense. He is aggressive off the bounce as he has a quick first step and creates opportunities off the bounce. He has vision and the ability to make on-target passes to open receivers while on the attack and in traffic. He isn't the biggest in size, but he plays with a level of toughness. He is a little turnover-prone, which is something he will have to improve as he continues his journey.

Asian is a talented wing who can handle the rock and score it off the bounce. He did not have a game that hugely impacted the stat sheet, but his game did make an impact. He is a playmaker who got others involved, and his aggressiveness off the bounce kept Clay's defenders on their heels. He was looking for his offense, but the trey ball was not falling. He was attacking off the bounce and creating opportunities for his teammates with his ability to get them the rock after collapsing the defense. He is a guy who fits really well in the Huntsville system.

The Clay coaching staff is raving about Christian and what he brings to the football and basketball programs. As a freshman, he is starting on the offensive line, and many say he could be garnering Power 4 offers soon. He just got into the swing with the JV team, and he was just too big for Huntsville guys to match up with him. He brings a relentless attack on the glass to the floor. He is physical and is not afraid of banging in the paint. There is a lot to improve in his game, but Christan will tell you he loves basketball, and it is the love that will drive his improvement.
