NORTHRIDGE — The Core Prep Fall Classic marked the last big fall high school basketball event in Southern California. Below we take a look at some under-the-radar guards who stood out.

Micah Tannenbaum | 2025 | Notre Dame

Tannenbaum is a perfect complement to the Knights' high level backcourt because of his willingness to do the things that don't show up in the box score. The 6-foot-1 guard is a high motor competitor who can knock down open threes and get to the rim off the bounce and score at the cup. Tannenbaum applies disruptive on-ball defensive pressure, rebounds well for his size and position and is a willing charge taker and guy who gets on the floor for loose balls.

Noah Henry | 2025 | St. Francis

Henry is a glue-type guard who has shown flashes of being able to take over a game offensively. The 6-foot-2 senior, whose brother, Andre, starred at St. Francis and now at UC Irvine, is a straight-line drive finisher who can elevate and finish above or through contact at the rim. Henry is also a guy who can fit into an offensive system and make the high IQ plays for himself and teammates.

Paris Lassiter | 2025 | Alemany

Lassiter has the ability to do a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor. He filled up the stat sheet in a win over Cleveland with 19 points, seven rebounds, five assists and four steals and the physical 6-foot-3 guard uses his downhill attacking and strength to power his way to the rim for high percentage finishes.

Perry Rainey | 2025 | Windward

Rainey finds himself in a position to get more playing time and touches with the transfer of [player_tooltip player_id='1630623' first='Gavin' last='Hightower'] and he has made the most of those opportunities this fall. The 6-foot-3 combo guard is best as a spot-up shooter from three-point range but can also handle the ball and made decisions as a secondary creator within the Windward offense.

Sydney Natche | 2025 | Village Christian

Natche is an explosive vertical athlete who thrives in transition settings where he can use his speed and leaping ability to slash his way to the paint and finish above the rim. The 6-foot-2 guard had a handful of highlight-reel dunks on the break and in half-court driving situations and also showed playmaking prowess on the defensive end as he used his length and lateral speed to disrupt passing lanes and create turnovers.
