He made a huge three from near half-court late in the game that had just about everyone in the gym on their feet in amazement. He moved without the ball well and is getting better at getting open off screens. He defended with intensity, and I look forward to watching his continued growth throughout the season. He finished with 17pts (15pts from behind the arc).

[player_tooltip player_id='1958557' first='Quay' last='Lynch'] (5'8/CG/'26/Pinson Valley HS)

IG: Rockout__quay

X: @Quay_Lynch2

Quay has started the season on fire, and his hot play continued during the classic. He is playing with a lot more confidence and is showing his scoring prowess from all levels. He is known as a shooter, but he has added a nice floor game and is scoring well off the bounce, especially with floaters. He is part of one of the state's best backcourt duos, along with [player_tooltip player_id='1398735' first='Austin' last='Coner']. Quay has stepped into the role of being a primary scoring option for the team, and his scoring will be needed for the Indians this year. He finished with 20pts (9pts from behind the arc).

[player_tooltip player_id='2726872' first='Marcus' last='Perry'] (6'3/SG/'27/Oxford HS)

IG: _.ihoopmarcus04

X: @Marcustotuff04

Marcus is a wing with positional size and a versatile scoring arsenal. He proved that he can score it from deep, put it on the floor, and score in traffic and through contact. He is young but plays with a lot of composure, and his scoring production will be an asset this season. He finished with 16pts (9pts coming from behind the arc).

[player_tooltip player_id='2291717' first='Egypt' last='Daniel'] (6'6/G|F/'25/Pelham HS)

IG: 3gypt__2025

Egypt has really good size and showed his ability to stretch the floor with his shooting from behind the arc. There is a lot of intrigue surrounding Egypt's game as he had some opportunities that he did not convert but showed that he could create the opportunities. I would like to see him be more aggressive, especially as the Panthers find their identity. I am sure I will be writing about him again this year. He finished with 18pts unofficially (9pts officially from behind the arc).
