He is not looked upon for scoring, but he understands his importance on the floor and getting the ball to his playmakers. Despite his size, he wasn't afraid to get in the paint and make really good decisions in tight spaces. He is a heady lead guard who helps to keep the offense fluid. He also defended very well at the point of attack, which made it hard for Jasper's guards to get them into their offense.

Anderius Deshaun Olds (6'0/CG/'26/Pelham)

IG: smb.andy_

One of the brightest talents who took the court Saturday was Anderius, aka ''AO.'' He had his talent, potential, and scoring prowess on full display. He plays on and off the ball, but he was at his best when he had the rock in his hands and was creating off the bounce. He has a complete floor game and a really good ability to get by defenders off the dribble. He is a good ball handler with a smooth ISO game, a quick first step, and really good finishing tools at his disposal. He is small and still needs to add strength and muscle.

Jaden Taylor (6'0/PG/'25/Bullock County)

IG: anonymousfrm223

Jayden is a silky smooth guard who does a really good job balancing, scoring, and facilitating. He showed his leadership as he was vocal and played with passion. He is a lead guard who can orchestrate the offense and score in bunches. He is confident and plays with a chip on his shoulder. He has a mature floor game, and his squad will go as he goes this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2639379' first='Brodey' last='Garrett'] (6'0/SG/'26/Jasper)

IG: brodey_garrett

This was my first time putting eyes on Brodey, and he had a solid showing as Jasper kicked off their season. With the Vikings dealing with injuries, Brodey stepped in and impacted the game with his play on both ends of the floor. He is a tough competitor and brings toughness to the backcourt. He shot it well from behind the arc and showed his ability to score off the bounce. Defensively, he was solid and made ball-handlers have to work to execute their offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2454948' first='Howard' last='Adams, IV.'] (6'3/Wing/'26/Clay-Chalkville)

IG: quadrie.dge

X: @HowardAdamsIV1

Howard is an athletic and bouncy wing who brought energy and effort to the floor and showed he could provide some quality minutes for the Cougars this year. He is highly active on the glass and rebounded at a high rate on both ends of the floor. He provided offense with put-backs which will be added value for Clay as they seek to make it to Birmingham. It seems Howard understands his role and is comfortable with his duties, making him a valuable asset to his squad.

[player_tooltip player_id='2639375' first='Rayshon' last='Lambert'] (6'4/CG/'26/Shades Valley)

IG: li.r3y

X: @raygetbuckets3

Rayshon is an athletic two-way talent. He is a high riser who uses his athleticism to make impact plays. He has positional size and length, which makes it difficult for ball-handlers to find gaps to penetrate. Potential scorers at the cup must be aware of where Rayshon is because he comes out of nowhere to block and contest shots. Offensively, he is a really crafty finisher, as he does a good job putting pressure on the rim off the bounce.

[player_tooltip player_id='1959252' first='Aaron' last='Adams-Martin'] (6'0/PG/'26/Midfield)

IG: _gleeaaron3

X: @gleeaaron03

Aaron is listed as a PG who has a physical build, especially in the upper body. His strength helps him with his downhill attacks, as he does a good job finishing at the rim in traffic and through contact. He thrives in the open court as he doesn't play with the rock but gets to the cup off the bounce. He even showed his ability to keep the floor spaced and knock down the trey ball. He has the physical measurables that separate him from many who try to match up against him.

Chris Morris (6'2/CG/'25/Fultondale)

IG: ofcitzchris

This was my first time putting eyes on Chris, and I was very impressed with his performance. He is a relentless competitor who has a massive scoring arsenal. He scored in a variety of ways from all over the court. He was one of the best iso scorers on display throughout the day. He is tough off the bounce and attacks the rim with purpose and aggression. He sealed it with me when he posted a smaller guard and hit him with a turn-around fade-away jumper. He is a tough shot maker whose stock rose in my sights. He also competed on the defensive end of the floor with highly active hands.

There was a lot of talent on display throughout the day, but here are a few players who were impact players for their teams…
