Saturday, I attended a portion of Brentwood's Play Day. The games below are included in this story.

Hume-Fogg vs. Rossview
Hickman County vs. Summit
Clarksville Academy vs. Grace Christian
Brentwood vs. Antioch

Kenechukwu Ezekakou / Hume-Fogg / 2025
Senior Kenechukwu Ezekakou displayed some surprising agility. He might just be able to defend three positions off of the bench, but Hume-Fogg will primarily ask him to rebound defensively and spell the starting bigs.

Samuel Craddock / Hume-Fogg / 2025
Craddock is a pest of a player, and he likes it that way. During a Hume-Fogg free throw, Craddock stood 70' away from the free throw line and bodied up to Jiyair Rose just to send a message that ‘I am guarding you wherever you go.' Further, he wanted to hear what Rossview's coach was sharing with Rose, the primary Hawk ball-handler.

Since the players were both on the court, he was not doing anything against the rules. He was being a pest though. And it pestered Rossview somewhat. Hume-Fogg is certainly going to have a strong season and it does not hurt to have a player that annoys the opposition. Craddock appears willing to take on that role.

[player_tooltip player_id='2634808' first='Tyler' last='McKennon'] / Hickman County / 2025
[player_tooltip player_id='2634808' first='Tyler' last='McKennon'] defends the paint. The team does a decent job committing to defense around the arc. If they let up, then [player_tooltip player_id='2634808' first='Tyler' last='McKennon'] will be accumulating fouls in a hurry as the only true big. And that will quickly change the team's on-floor composition when he sits with foul problems.

[player_tooltip player_id='2376260' first='Davis' last='Cochran'] / Brentwood / 2027
[player_tooltip player_id='2376260' first='Davis' last='Cochran'] is a name to remember for you Hoopheads. Standing 6-foot-7, possibly 6-foot-8, Davis is a wonderful shooter. The team asks him to defend the rim mostly, but offensively he is welcomed to float outside the arc some too. He hit a wing three during a massive first half onslaught of Antioch at the Play Day. The first half ended 45-10, Brentwood.

[player_tooltip player_id='2430450' first='Chris' last='Aveary'] / Antioch / 2025
Antioch was undermanned in a blowout loss to hosts Brentwood. They figured it out somewhat against Clarksville Academy early. Leader [player_tooltip player_id='2430450' first='Chris' last='Aveary'] was very vocal on defense and extremely active with his feet. He caused a turnover and finished off the ensuing steal to put Anitoch up 4-0 on Clarksville Academy mere seconds after they lost to Brentwood. It took great resilience, and his team needed a kick in the butt that he provided.
