As the midway point of senior year approaches, these high school students are capable of making a name for themselves. I have chosen three, high IQ small forwards to top this list with a couple guards who play with confidence. I believe all these players can make the most out of their senior year and prove they can play at a greater level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1667350' first='Justin' last='Johnson'] may be listed as a small forward, but to me, he has great point guard traits. He plays with his eyes up, looking for open teammates or trying to get to the rim. Johnson's biggest asset is his patience. He tends to slow the ball down when in the half court, almost like a point guard. His ability to take his time and find an open teammate or open shot is promising. When taking good shots, he has an effective shot from deep as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1922302' first='Ahmad' last='Wells'] is a slashing forward who plays like a combo guard. He plays well getting downhill, looking to get to the basket. His strong finishing ability, size, and vertical all help him be effective in the paint. Wells' is also a great passer and can suck in the defense to allow teammates to get open for easy shots. Wells has a great overall build and uses it to his advantage.

[player_tooltip player_id='1945254' first='Landon' last='Nehls'] is simply a smart ball player. He takes good shots and waits for good looks to come his way before stepping into a shot. Nehls is a solid shooter and uses his length on the defensive end to help contest shots down low and get blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1763154' first='Mychael' last='Walker'] is a pesty defender with amazing speed. His on-ball defense is something that drives offensive players crazy, and if he gets a steal on you, kiss him goodbye. Walker is also a football player with a 4.8 40-yard-dash time. Not only can he beat you to the basket, but he also can shoot the three-ball with a high-arcing shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='2351330' first='Henry' last='King'] loves getting to the basket, and he's not afraid to run through you. He will put his shoulder into you and play through contact if there is anyone in his way. It is pretty impressive how he can get his shot off even against taller defenders. He slashes hard and can take off the dribble whenever he wants.

As the midway point of senior year approaches, these high school students are capable of making a name for themselves. I have chosen three, high IQ small forwards to top this list with a couple guards who play with confidence. I believe all these players can make the most out of their senior year and prove they can play at a greater level.
