September 17-18th I attended the West Coast Elite Fall League located at the Phhacility in Phx, AZ. I watched 8 teams play on the two days. Some of the teams played both nights and here were some of the senior standouts.

2025 Standouts

[player_tooltip player_id='1327993' first='Jhordan' last='Bowls'] Westview

A scoring guard is a good sized point guard who has a tight handle. He has speed in the open court with nice court vision and can shoot the three off the catch. He will hesitate and get to the basket and score on reverse layups with advanced body control.

[player_tooltip player_id='1822527' first='Devone' last='Pless'] The Valley Prep

A super versatile wing forward is taking a post grad year and is an all-around player. He will block shots, rebound everything in his area and he is a great passer. He will score with catch three and likes the mid-range jumper. He will put points on the board with inside baskets using the floater taking his long strides.

[player_tooltip player_id='1469397' first='Kylen' last='Bonner'] San Tan Charter

A senior scoring guard will take pressure off of their sophomore duo. He can shoot the three in the corner and smartly cut without the ball. He uses his long arms to collect steals and will score it on the other end. He can pull-up from mid-range and will be needed in the big games.

[player_tooltip player_id='996168' first='Evan' last='Coates'] PHH Prep Red

A highly skilled post player has a more physical approach. He rebounds with his girth and long arms and will score on put backs, hook shots, dunks and can face up to the perimeter. He is a good passer and can handle the ball to create his own offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2453705' first='LaTrell' last='Hoover'] PHH Prep Red

A true post player with great hands and has advanced post footwork. He can dunk the ball and score with hook shots with either hand. He runs the floor, he will rebound in and out of his area and block shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='1256520' first='Ty' last='Virgil'] Hillcrest Prep

A bigger sized scoring guard is a lefty who will let it fly with volleyball line range. He has a quick release and the size to shoot over the top of the defense. He will also get downhill and score thru the contact using his athleticism and length.

[player_tooltip player_id='986972' first='Quentin' last='Rhymes'] Hillcrest Prep

A bigger wing with athleticism and skill. He had two big games on both nights and averaged nearly 20 ppg. He scored from all three levels with catch threes, attacking dunks, nasty mid-range pull-ups and fall aways or side steps deep threes. He gets to the FT line and brings energy on defense. He recently committed to Nebraska.

[player_tooltip player_id='2176822' first='Christian' last='Jones'] Hillcrest Prep

One of the most unselfish guards in the state. He can go full quarters without attempting a shot and then rattle off deep threes. He has an impressive mid-range pull-up and will jet down the lane and use the floater game or lay it in.

[player_tooltip player_id='2560895' first='Gerrell' last='Trapps'] Phhoenix Prep White

A tough lefty who gets downhill. He puts pressure on the defense and has a next level burst to get to the basket. He can make the open three and his speed, toughness and on-ball defense are next level attributes. He has quick hands and feet and brings huge energy on both ends of the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='2039505' first='Braylon' last='Haman'] Phhoenix Prep White (Pictured)

A post grad player keeps getting better. He scores from all levels with deceptively quick takes to the basket with his left or right hand. He smartly plays off of two-feet and will find a teammate in stride. He is a very good lob thrower for the dime and plays with toughness.

[player_tooltip player_id='1274847' first='Adam' last='Hubbard'] Phhoenix Prep White

A long guard can play on or off the ball. He has deep range with a super quick trigger and shows plus body control to score inside. A fine athlete to rebound and will grab a steal and race down the other end and dunk it.
